Vance: America hasn't won a single war in the last 40 years

What? Lol!!

It is a Known FACT that the USA entered the WW2 almost at the end.

China killed nearly half of Imperial Japan's forces which enabled the USA to put up some sort of a fight. Otherwise the USA had a zero chance!!

The rest of the WW2 was a Russian victory. Without Russia's role in ACTUALLY defeating the Nazi Germany and WINNING THE WW2, the USA would have not dared enter a war in Europe against a beast like the Nazi Germany!

Had the Imperial Japan been as racist as the USA rulers during the WW2 they would have struck the USA with chemical and biological weapons and thus completely cripple and annhihilate it. The Imperial Japan however was still more humane in its decision and had decided not wipe every single American city from the face of this planet!

The USA OWES its existance to the Russians and the Chinese role in WW2!

US is good at marketing, But you never underestimate them, having said that, in the end US lost the war in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Ukraine(soon) and Iraq (soon)

if USA losing wars causes such damage to the opponets, imagine what they'd be like if USA wins.

Ask Iraq, Afghanistan etc. Idiot leaders of USA seem happy to just make rubble of cities. Waste of life and money first destroying and then rebuilding

It is a cowardly country.

The USA never has, and never will dare stand against a country that can hit back.

They are only good at bombing defenseless underdeveloped countries. Even then, China pushed them back and spanked their behinds all the way to the DMZ during the Korean War, you of all people should know that!

No one is underestimating them. But the USA is a paper tiger. Once their casualties hit large enough numbers they will either run away or surrender.

To win the USA would have to fight a country that can hit back. They never will.

The poor and the weak has always been suppressed throughout the ages, there is no surprise here.

The USA has destroyed many lands and peoples, but look at them now. Unable to afford basic healthcare, broken roads, aged out bridges, horrendously bad schools, crime, and corruption.

The USA is a has been.

Heck even Russia can bomb the crap out of Ukraine but look at their pathetic performance. Did they manage to conquer all of Ukraine? =). If US fights a peer power like China, the stakes are different mate.

any war is devastating.
I do notice you slipping in China as a peer :) if that is how you have feel proud go for it, I won't object. May be one your wish may come true who knows.

don't be silly. There is a reason why everyone around the world clamors to enter the US legally or illegally. There is no better country for materialistic life, all considered. I think you are generalizing way too much about the gaps.

Indians think so, but not the Chinese.

It's true that the rich Chinese don't like to stay in China where they can't gain power and that level of enjoyment on the island of Little St. James through their capital, but they'll choose the safer Europe over the US.

The middle class and proletariat in China will also not go to the US or Europe, they will stay in China to start their businesses, it is the best place in the world for them.

Only indebted gamblers, wanted criminals, drug addicts and other types of Chinese will go to the US.

More than 90% of Chinese students choose to return to China to start their own business:

normally i'll take your word for it but there seems to be an awful lot of them. nah, you are spinning

American Big Business, Wall Street and the Banksters have never lost a war.

Major-General Smedley Darlington Butler (July 30, 1881 – June 21, 1940) was a United States Marine Corps officer and writer. During his 34-year military career, he fought in the Philippine–American War, the Boxer Rebellion, the Mexican Revolution, World War I, and the Banana Wars. At the time of his death, Butler was the most decorated Marine in U.S. military history. By the end of his career, Butler had received sixteen medals, including five for heroism; he is the only Marine to be awarded the Marine Corps Brevet Medal as well as two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.

Depending on where the war would be fought

Typical American revisionism.

Without the vixtory at Vimy Ridge, the USA would have never entered the WW1, because Vimy Ridge cemented and laid the foundations of the German loss in WW1. The USA entered only after they were assured that Germany was going to lose.

The American behavior has always been a Hollywood script.

Too weak and scared to face an equal enemy and very strong and eager to invade a defenseless target.
Canadian breakthrough in the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917 was a tactical victory at best as it did not translate to success in the (overarching) Nivelle Offensive.

German forces defeated Russian forces on the Eastern Front in a series of battles that were fought in 1914 and 1915. This development made it possible for Germany to handle Allied Powers on the Western Front. German forces reversed many of the gains of the Allied Powers on the Western Front in a countermove known as the German Spring Offensive in 1918. I posted a map that reveals the extent of German military advances on the ground in this operation but you conveniently ignored it. The British and the French were out of options at this stage.

The US-led military operations such as the Battle of St. Mihiel followed by the Meuse-Argonne Offensive in 1918 proved decisive in turning the tide of the war.

i do not deny their ability to inflict maximum physical damage to the lesser states but as von Clausewitz said war is extension of politics and they are at this point beyond fix, when you mentioned Russia as example isn't it that USA approached them recently to beg for peace?
The US is not begging for peace in this matter but there is a difference of opinion in the US about how to engage with Russia on a broader level. Trump administration is of the view that Russia is a large country with considerable natural resources and should be treated with respect because of the potential benefits to the US in this rapprochement. Putin desire the same in fact. The ongoing war in Ukraine has certainly taken its toll on Russia on many levels but Trump administration in the US is a twist of fate for Russia.

USA has not won a single war by itself, ever!

When it gets into a war with China - it will come crying to Europe for help!
Let's hear from the mighty Bangladesh about how to fight and win a war. Humans are by nature social beings and seek allies to handle a conflict situation be it on a small scale in the streets or on a large scale in a clash of civilizations. Human civilizations have a lengthy history of putting together a coalition of forces to fight a war and the practice continues in the present. Even in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, both countries sought allies. Russia also reached out to Iran, China, and even North Korea for supply of arms and manpower. This is how it is.

Even a cursory look at the global situation is sufficient to find out that the US is a superpower while Bangladesh is a small player even on a regional level.

Well! Bangladeshis have never claimed to be military super power. We tend to be humble and dislike militarism. Read about the fate of military dictators of BD.

It’s the US that acts like Ghengis Khan and fights like Tikka Khan.

Comprehensively humiliated by the Vietkong and the Taliban.

If a robber manages to enter your house and plunder much of it and you manage to hold up in a room until the robber is done and decides to leave, this is victory in your books?

Neither Vietcong and nor Taliban could defeat American forces in any big battle in war. Both negotiated a way out with the US to end the war.
