The trump operation came just after ongoing Chinese military excercises around taiwan province. It can signal as a bait for China to start a military operation seeing usa bogged down in Venezuela and cannot do much about anything else. It may well be a trap they will possibly do some surgical strikes in Venezuela instead of an invasion and then immediately stop and do other stuff in rest of the world. So trump is far from being bogged down in Venezuela yet. Both Japan and SK should have learned their lesson by now about taiwan province of China. Military op is not necessary unless getting attacked with solid proof.

About Venezuela if there wont be too much escalation and they can protect their assets after this operation they will do more military purchases from China , Russia and other suppliers. There will be a trump naval blockade perhaps but they can transfer military assets from through other South American countries.

US war objective is to convert Venezuelan political and social system from socialism to pseudo democracy

That's not an easy objective to achieve unless they lined up pockets of entire Venezuelan leadership

You greatly overestimate people's fear of the USA

They already do airstrikes in almost every country in the world

They cannot commit to a ground invasion in Venezuela so China and Russia don't get ideas elsewhere

It's pretty much dependent on Venezuelan people will they see it as opportunity for 'freedom' or not

Venezuela has no chance to prevent US strikes

But US can't force change of mind on Venezuelan people

And it won't

The question is how much will life freeze up in Venezuela

US is counting on triggering a civil war in Venezuela and they'll provide resources for the pro-US side

US may very well do strikes on Iranian government/military

Likelyhood of regime change in Iran is much lower than Venezuela

It would trigger a unpredictable power vacuum that could unsettle region , not necessarily by Iranian or pro-Iranian forces

That's reason US won't go ahead with it
