Hugo Chavez has been proven right. I didnt pay too much attention to Venezuela but remember a speech by him in the 2000's where he was accusing the US and demanding it respect the Venezuelan Constitution. At that time I thought he was just scapegoating America but I guess I was wrong. I think this also proves Chavez was assassinated by disease like Arafat.

Well, I just know that we now lost all moral high ground on stuff. But I am not surprised at all that Trump will do something like that.

What can they do anyway? This the backyard of the US. The US is always at a major advantage proximity wise.

Didn't Russia attack and confiscate Ukrainian territory? What did the world do apart from sending weapons and mercenaries? Russia was always in full control proximity wise.

The US/NATO fought for 2 decades in Afghanistan and had to leave. Logistics weren't in their favor. People often forget how important logistics and proximity are during war.

I don't think. I am just amazed at jungle's law. The western powers and their mentality is still same since colonial era. Its not changed a bit. They invaded oil rich Iraq on baseless allegations and doing the same with Venezuela. Their whole history is filled with destroying nations and lootings.
