Venezuela - US Conflict: News, Updates

Trump - We will sell the oil on their behalf and will give the $$ to the people.
Finding a new buyer for sour and extra-heavy Venezuelan oil won't be easy, in fact no country besides China has the stomach for such low grade crudes in such large quantity

China only buys them because Maduro regime is a friendly regime and serves as an eyesore to the Americans. we don't even profit much from selling the refined products and could happily switch to other suppliers. So what happens once oil money and drug money are gone?who is going to feed the 30 mil mouths?

Has anyone around Trump walked himthrough the aftermath I wonder.. or maybe he just doesn’t care about future humanitarian crises at all

And another Buk was destroyed

Russian garbage. Since the Turkish operation over idlib in any conflict all we hear about is how russian air defences get destroyed without shooting anything down.

Trump seems to be reading from a script and multiple times claiming to run Venezuela. I have not watched the full video so far but looks like he really means it.

They are world currency and states are forced to trade in it, you do not believe me go check SWIFT system how it operates, simply they are the strongest thug in city and everyone have to obey otherwise they got beaten or worse.

There is no better alternative than the USD as the reserve forex for trade.

Damn if its true its annexation

My friend, blaming Russia is not correct. At a distance of 14,000 kilometers, no country is willing to engage in conflict with the United States, unless direct intercontinental missile nuclear attacks are launched. At a distance of 14,000 kilometers, even the strongest support cannot offset the consumption of a conventional war, and the U.S. cannot do it either. I hope brothers serving in the military can explain the issues of transporting supplies over 14,000 kilometers.

Distance is very important in war. For example, Pakistan's J-10CP—other countries believe the PL-15 has a range of over 145 kilometers, but the brave Pakistan Air Force achieved a world record with a kill beyond 190KM.

Similarly, if Pakistan were in South America, no matter how good the relationship, we would still be unable to provide assistance.

Absolutely, you are correct.

I can see that it is really impossible to support a country at the distance of 14,000KM everyday 24/7.

Latin America along with Mexico spent the last 40 years spreading drugs into America and getting their people hooked on drugs. While the US opened their market and borders in good faith.

No better than the Afghans if not worse.

And have no real deterrence if the chickens come home to roost? :ROFLMAO:

When Iraq was invaded by the anglo-american coalition, later on it turned out that most of the iraqi military had long been brought off. The special forces knew they were going into a nation where the army was not going to resist their attack in any serious way.
That is not the case. Iraqi forces outside the cities stood no chance. Saddam's plan was to draw the US-led forces to Iraqi cities and hope to replicate Stalingrad in Baghdad. However, Iraqi cities also fell one by one. The American (and British) armor could withstand heavy blows and few pieces were lost inside Iraqi cities. The American war machine is so advanced that it can cripple defenses of a regional power in a matter of days. However, when two regional powers fight, they typically find themselves in a stalemate with limited gains to show on the ground and suffer heavy casualties in the process. As an analogy, if Venezuela and Colombia were to fight a war, do you think either camp can replicate Trump's showing? Absolutely not. The US makes it look easy. However, for other countries, might not be feasible.

Not to mention a monthlong buildup -
What happened was a complete dismantling of the Venezuelan regime and removing most if not all military threats leaving only total loyalists out there.

As with Saddam, if you no longer have support of the people in majority then all you are doing is waiting on a thin bubble.

The space force/intel combo had every AD site marked including AAA.
It was a cake walk for the 160th to then stroll in and since was post the massive shock and awe happening Maduros guards themselves ran.

As of Q2 2025:

US Dollar: 56%
Euro: 20%
Chinese RMB: 2%
Other currencies (JPY, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD): 20%

The Western powers still have a strong hold. The US/EU pair isn't going away anytime soon. The institutional depth is resilient.

US is very good at bullying tiny weak nations.
