Venezuelan people who still wish to keep Maduro as their country’s ruler have got no right to do so. That is all. - @VCheng the geniusOf course. USA has only taken out Maduro, who even EU and many other countries do not regard as a legitimate ruler. That is all.
Where the country goes next is clearly the right of the Venezuelan people.
I would prefer someone who acts like me to deal with even if I don't agree with them on everything instead of someone totally unknown or of a different mindset group. That would make sense only if Trump hadn't shown already just how much he supports Putin.
Not exactly - the shale situation is pretty fragile and drilling is more frequent(which adds overall costs even if it helps subcontractors) and take it from someone who has been to Midland, Delaware and my home state north of Greeley.
The costs simply cannot match Venezuelan crude even with subsidies.

If they wished to keep him then why did his own loyalists hide in a mall and no people were out in the streets?Venezuelan people who still wish to keep Maduro as their president have got no right to do so. That is all. - @VCheng the genius
The mission wasn't accomplished in his time but it was accomplished in the Mesopotamian region eventually. The US-led forces overran Iraq in 21 days during the conventional phase of the war (blitzkrieg). So there's that. However, Bush admin decided to dismantle Iraqi institutions including Iraqi Army and create a new Iraqi political system, this reset compelled many Iraqi soldiers to join Iraqi rebels and other countries such as Syria and Iran supported them. The Iraqi insurgency expanded and claimed many lives but the US did not give up on Iraq under successive governments and the US have managed to reshape Iraqi political landscape in the end. The war also expanded to Syria leading to collapse of the Assad regime there in time and now Iran is exposed. The once dominant Ba'athist political reality of the region is history.
FFS Cheng you been waiting and seeing for over a decade since I been reading your posts on here.We can but wait and see. US domestic supplies have been made pretty robust, and that is the basic foundation for any further energy strategies on a global basis.
The theory of flooding the market. Keywords “in much larger doses”, “large amounts of oil”. That will surely tank the prices. What about it? The Bush family has been in the oil business forever, and then there is the history with Saudi Arabia since the Roosevelt days. And that is just one country. Many other countries are in the same business.
There is what eschatology(in all its adulterated forms) makes you believe and what at least from pure metrics and history shows.
