Great analogy. For example, in the mid-17th century, the East India Company began to gradually invade and colonize India under the pretext of protecting property.
This view is rooted in Cold War mentality, obsessed with the fantasy of bloc confrontation. In times of peace, all these countries are extremely pro-Western and kowtow to the United States. When they run into trouble, they expect someone to stand up for them — but how is that possible?Everything you mentioned is subjective and based in an emotional context.
The results speak for themselves. China is more powerful than ever. Period. It is far more powerful today, than last year, than two years ago and multiple times more powerful than 2020.
If China chimped out after every incident in the last several decades, do you think it would be where it is today?
China's leaders know what they are doing. The results speak for themselves. As you can see, the world is a jungle so it takes a high level of intelligence and management to emerge at the top of the food chain.
We're now officially in the era of Neo Colonialism / Imperialism:Americans very much behaving like their old British masters.
Trump and his team didn’t even try creating a coalition either at home or abroad. By simply landing troops in another nation and decapitating its leadership, Trump has done Russia and China a great service by trashing, yet again, guardrails that limit other nations from running amok. International law? Pointless. The United Nations? Never heard of it. The Congress of the United States? Well, they’re good folks, but according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, they couldn’t be told ahead of time, for security reasons. (He said this while standing next to Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, a fountain of security violations.) Putin and Xi must have watched Trump’s presser while nodding and taking notes.
The world we live in was formed from centuries of Western domination. Because of this, the US enjoys great structural advantages and has great control over the elites and decision making bodies of more than half the world. This view is rooted in Cold War mentality, obsessed with the fantasy of bloc confrontation. For China, the top priority is to focus on developing its own strength and improving the living standards of its people. When its strength is sufficient enough, it can resolve all issues without relying on alliances with anyone. This is the most correct path forward.
Even if China was to become the world's sole superpower, it would still require the backing of Israel like US does these days...For China, the top priority is to focus on developing its own strength and improving the living standards of its people. That's something China will not accept because that is basically enslaving yourself and it's only a blessing with a very finite period because in the end, the parasites will eat up your country from the inside. Look at the US and how much it's been devoured by it's "elites".Even if China was to become the world's sole superpower, it would still require the backing of Israel like US does these days...
That's right. They're quite busy reverse-engineering Western technology to "compete" with... Western technology. That's basically China's model of becoming the world's next superpower by mass manufacturing & flooding the international market with Chinese-made products.China's leaders know what they are doing.
China is far-far behind US, in weapons, technology and military operations planning.Even if China was to become the world's sole superpower, it would still require the backing of Israel like US does these days...
This is not about 'right' because a 'right' implies enforcement to protect that 'right'. For example, the 'right to free speech' has the government protect that freedom and to punish any restriction of it.I don't understand. So the US has the right to invade countries when their assets are nationalized? Does this apply only to the US or to all countries?
