Vietnam war: The first war the US lost

That's because many countries had "fly high" aircraft with "dumb" weapons.
Dropping hundreds of bombs in the general area of a bridge from some crazy height only wasted most of them. You'd be lucky if one scored a really good hit.

Only when smart weapons came on the scene did the fly high stuff become more bang-for-the-buck.

"Fly high" aircrafts like 4th gen Mig29s needs "educational" background like Indian pilots. 🙂
The others can only be settled with "fly low" aircrafts like Mig21, we claim 🕳️

There is a difference between the pictures shown by Americans as compared to the ground truth. And the 'capacity' of America to take tanks to Asia is just the lies of these pictures/these false videos 🙂

The Americans were brutally "hunted down" by combine of Hindus -Russians-Chinese in then Vietnam. These so called "Universal Soldiers" of different countries, who fought that war for 'non-western' Humanity, on the soil of non-religious land of Vietnam 👍

And that lead is maintained to date 👍

Mig21s are the mostly sold birds in world. And they did play good role in that war 👍

Nnnnooo...The MIG-21s flown by the North Vietnamese Air Force were underused, to be kind about it.

First, the -21s were not in 'wing' level quantity.

Second, because of the 'First', their use had to be carefully husbanded.

Third, the North Vietnamese Air Force with the -21s went after heavily laden fighter-bombers, in other words, targets that can barely maneuver. All the North Vietnamese Air Force pilots had to do was shot at a few F-105s which compelled the others to jettison their bombs. Mission accomplished.

Fourth, Operation Bolo. Look it up.

The main fighter aircraft used by the North Vietnamese Air Force against the U.S. during the Vietnam War were the Soviet and Chinese-built MiG-17, MiG-19, and MiG-21. The MiG-21 was North Vietnam's primary advanced fighter, designed as a high-speed interceptor, while the MiG-17 was an older but effective subsonic fighter used against slower bombers and the MiG-19 was a less maneuverable and slower supersonic fighter.
