personally I can't stand how the sitar sounds, its disgusting and makes me scratch my ears.. twing twing twang twang...
goras seem to find it exotic somehow.
much much tougher instrument to master, though.
^this dude is a classical guitarist in training, knows his stuff.
Listen to the entire track and wait for the incredible electric sitar solo at the end.
That would have completely changed the vibe of the song. At the end of the day, it is supposed to be a very intimate track about connecting with God.still didn't like the sitar guy's shenanigans, basic overused pentatonic sequences hi kar raha hai, just on a different instrument.. Tele guy should have handled that solo, with a fuzz and boost type, dunno..
Ya, I guess.. Sitar does have that natural ethereal vibe, or maybe that's just how its used in a lot of media, movies, music.. harp ya church organ vibe, in a sense.That would have completely changed the vibe of the song.
