Apples and oranges. It depends on the type of use. The LC tailgate is a known issue, and fixable, if the rest of the vehicle is good. Check the windshield surround for any rust issues near the trim rivets, which are a huge pain to address properly. It is heavy on gas - 10 to 12 city, 15 to 17 on the highway, but is a tank for any type of weather or terrain, with lots of aftermarket support.

The Tesla is a totally different vehicle altogether. Electric of course, but think about charging scenarios - at home, at work, or somewhere else? Cheap to run on a per mile basis by comparison, but most issues are dealer exclusives, other than tires, which it eats up like there is no tomorrow.

I know its strange question. Someone offer me dirt cheap Land Cruiser and i know its different beast , Tesla Y fits in my need. But Landcruiser is a classic and series 100 soon disappear , teenage dream car. But scared me cost of maintenance. ....yes, Tesla car battery weight takes tolls on the tires, it is true fact...
