Apples and oranges. It depends on the type of use. The LC tailgate is a known issue, and fixable, if the rest of the vehicle is good. Check the windshield surround for any rust issues near the trim rivets, which are a huge pain to address properly. It is heavy on gas - 10 to 12 city, 15 to 17 on the highway, but is a tank for any type of weather or terrain, with lots of aftermarket support.

The Tesla is a totally different vehicle altogether. Electric of course, but think about charging scenarios - at home, at work, or somewhere else? Cheap to run on a per mile basis by comparison, but most issues are dealer exclusives, other than tires, which it eats up like there is no tomorrow.

I know its strange question. Someone offer me dirt cheap Land Cruiser and i know its different beast , Tesla Y fits in my need. But Landcruiser is a classic and series 100 soon disappear , teenage dream car. But scared me cost of maintenance. ....yes, Tesla car battery weight takes tolls on the tires, it is true fact...

Fulfill your needs before your wants, always.

Get the Tesla first and use it for your requirements, and then consider the LC if and when you can.

Fun Fact:

Groundbreaking for the Pentagon commenced on 9/11/1941. Construction took 15 months.

Following the attack on the same date 60 years later, it took almost 10 years to complete the reconstruction of the facility which included modernization of the facility as there had been no major upgrades following its construction during WWII. The work was completed June 2011.

And all non muslims, right? Don't they all go to hell to be tortured for all eternity?
religious discussion is not allowed. I said that as Powell and Rumsfeld are considered heroes. There is an ambiguity.

I am not certain that they will go to hell, but probably.
Also, not all non-Muslims are hell-bound. Many Muslims will go to hell too.
Just a summary.

@moonaman.varavayi
Four types of people will present their excuses on the Day of Resurrection: a deaf man who cannot hear anything, an insane man, a senile man, and a man who died during a fatrah (a period with no prophet).
@Indos
I think there is a verse about that too.? Like for people still living in the Amazon jungle or far away from humanity, like in the Incobar Island.

I heard from Maula Maududi too....

Yup. Though I heard from Dr Israr. The issue is, I cannot find the Qur'anic reference for now. :)

The hadith you are referring to is narrated from Anas ibn Malik and also through other chains. One version recorded in Musnad Ahmad states:

"Four people will present their case to Allah on the Day of Resurrection:

  • a deaf person who could not hear anything,
  • a person who was mentally impaired,
  • a very old person,
  • and a person who died during the interval between prophets (fatrah).
The deaf person will say: 'My Lord, Islam came, but I could not hear anything.'

The mentally impaired person will say: 'My Lord, Islam came, but children used to throw dung at me.'

The very old person will say: 'My Lord, Islam came, but I understood nothing.'

The one who died during the interval between prophets will say: 'My Lord, no messenger came to me.'

Allah will take a covenant from them that they will obey Him. Then He will command them to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, if they enter it, it will become cool and safe for them."

A similar narration appears in Sahih Ibn Hibban with related wording.

Authenticity

Scholars have differed regarding this hadith:

  • Ahmad ibn Hanbal recorded it in Musnad Ahmad.
  • Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim accepted its meaning and cited it as evidence that people who were not properly reached by the message will be tested on the Day of Judgment.
  • Al-Albani graded one of its routes as authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) due to supporting chains.
  • Some other hadith scholars considered individual chains weak, though many held that the multiple narrations strengthen the overall report.

This hadith is often cited in discussions about Ahl al-Fatrah (people to whom the message of Islam did not reach in a way that established proof) and Allah's justice in judging those who lacked the ability or opportunity to respond to revelation.

The verse is:

"Whoever is guided is only guided for his own benefit, and whoever goes astray does so to his own detriment. No bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And We never punish until We have sent a messenger."

— Qur'an

Transliteration

Mani ihtadā fa'innamā yahtadī linafsih; wa man ḍalla fa'innamā yaḍillu ʿalayhā. Wa lā taziru wāziratun wizra ukhrā. Wa mā kunnā muʿadhdhibīna ḥattā nabʿatha rasūlā.

Meaning

This verse establishes a foundational principle of divine justice: Allah does not punish a people until the message has been conveyed to them through a messenger.

Classical scholars differed on how this principle applies to people who never received the message of Islam or received it in a distorted form. Many understood this verse, together with relevant hadiths, to mean that such people will be judged justly according to the proof established against them, and some scholars held that they may be tested on the Day of Judgment.

Related verses expressing the same principle include:

  • Qur'an: Messengers were sent "so that mankind would have no argument against Allah after the messengers."
  • Qur'an: Allah does not destroy communities while they are unaware.
  • Qur'an: "Your Lord is never unjust to His servants."

So do you agree that every single Chinese master of yours will be tortured in hell for eternity? Every Japanese, every Croatian?

None of them are going to die as muslims.

Grow up and realize the inevitable - these are iron age superstitions meant to huddle you into an us versus them camp.

(Thank you for the response.)

“The believers, the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabians—whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds will have their reward from their Lord. They will have no fear or sadness” (Al-Baqara:62)?

I think monotheism is the key.
