if an operation has to be undertaken by the PLA to reunify Taiwan with the mainland, and China has established a beachhead at multiple points, knowing it has the capacity to resupply the provisions, but needs to resupply men, would China embark on a distributed operation?

Considering the danger of ferries and larger ships being attacked, would China resort to employing craft such as Jet skis enmasse? Hundreds of thousands of specially modified jet skis could allow a crossing of divisions of men. Especially if the operation is done when seas are calm enough to allow it.
