The dispute between Chinese netizens and Turkish netizens comes from the fact that Chinese do not think Türkiye is Turkic, but Muslim Greek.

Chinese people believe that DNA is the basis for determining ethnic identity. A simple logic is that if Turkic conquered Anatolia, Türkiye would become Turkic, and Britain conquered India, Indians would become Anglo Saxons.

I was once having a conversation with a convert German brother who told me that the reason why Europe have accepted this watered down christianity is because of these who call themselves turks today from modern day Turkey.

He hilariously mentioned the council of nicaea scandal where they basically elected a man as ´´GOD´´ That city is modern day Iznik in Busra Province in Turkey not far from Istanbul..
