Who Created Harappan / Indus Valley Civilisation? | How Did It End? | Samvaad With Devdutt Pattanaik

That's not what I said. I said the turko-mongol came to south asia from a region geographically closer than the aryan.
Aryan is a cultural term not a geographical identity. This debate is old and boring. Turko-Mongols are not geographically close to Aryans (unless if you consider their empire rule in India).

Aryan is a cultural term created by the settlers in the NW of South Asia to describe themselves. Dravidians, Onge, and other native groups had nothing to do with it. As the settlers spread, so did their culture and ID to the point that there are Dravidians today who genuinely believe they are the spitting image of ancient Vedic Aryans because they copypasted their culture and religion.

At the end of the day, regardless of how much they try to copy the culture, they lack the DNA and pedigree of the original Aryans. Most Indians do not have original Aryan DNA, they have the DNA of native converts, which makes it even more ironic that they have adopted an ideology as xenophobic and bigoted as Sanatan.

Then why Gandharans were called malechha? North West settlers lol!
They were called mleccha centuries after the originals expanded and spread eastwards. The reasoning was that the Indo Aryan people of Gandhara had abandoned the rituals. Now imagine, if Indo-Aryan people who stopped following rituals became mleccha to Gangetic Sanatanis, what would they have to say about non-Indo Aryan natives in South Asia practicing religions and forms of worship which predated Sanatan and were alien to them? The people who considered themselves Aryan back then certainly didn't ascribe to the "ewerything is Hinduism saar" and "if you vorship nature and random thingj, you are Hindu" ideology which defines neo-Hinduism today.

The ancestors of many a kattar Hindu today would have also been considered a dasyu or mleccha by the originals. Centuries of being branded as impure, barbaric, filthy, shishnadeva, etc is what eventually lead to them becoming kattar Sanatani Hindus as vile and hateful as the originals.

Hindus still are polytheists and worship fire, sun , water and other elements in their every ritual. And about ancestors...
so called aryans of Pakistan and Iran who converted into monotheism cults would be treated as filthy barbarian mlechhas -worse than current Hindus, who would at least be considered as brothers who deviated from path but not lost yet.

If being Aryan was just about being polytheist and worshiping random things, then the phallus worshiping natives encountered by the originals wouldn't be considered vile shishnadevas.
current Hindus who would be considered as brothers
Why would the current modern day converted Hindus who are a hodge podge of different breeds and groups, descended from tribals, lowborns, and foreigners completely alien to the originals be considered brothers? They don't even follow the religion and culture of the originals properly. Cow and vegetarian fanaticism alone makes modern day neo-Hinduism alien to what the originals believed.

Those Hindu ancestors called Mlechhas to those who denounced Vedic gods and rituals completely, which fits the current abrahmic cults living in Iran and Pakistan.

Patent lies.

Your barhadari have chosen Vedic Hinduism, a religion foreign to these lands and assembled by Vedic Aryans who travelled here from afar.

The mlecchas you refer to are the same who are identified and cursed in the scriptures of the Vedic faith.

They ate lots of beef and rejected caste disciminators, so I can fully understand why there was friction between these new Vedics and the followers of native animist faiths.

Moreover, mlecchas will one day apparently all be slaughtered indiscriminately by the sword of Kalki (Bhagavata Purana).

They were an unforunate people, ostracised for their beliefs by a foreign sponsored polytheistic faith, and it seems they may well remain so.

By the way, we Pakistanis are very proud of our roots and are happy to show off these varied elements of our ancient history to any Indian guests who might be curious. Apply for a visa, undergo the usual security checks, and be our guest as you embark upon a journey of genuine learning.

The poor fellow you are conversing with is desperately confused! Credit to you for trying to enlighten him but they are long gone.

Sanskrit originated in South Asia, specifically the northwestern region of the Indian subcontinent, as Vedic Sanskrit around 1500 BCE.Linguistic Roots and FamilyLanguage Family: Sanskrit belongs to the Indo-Aryan branch of the Indo-Iranian family, which is part of the larger Indo-European language family.

Ancestry: It traces back to a reconstructed ancestral tongue known as Proto-Indo-European, shared distantly with languages like English, Greek, and Latin.Predecessor Migration: Its predecessor dialects arrived in South Asia from the northwest during the late Bronze Age through migrating Indo-Aryan populations.

Historical DevelopmentVedic Period (c. 1500–600 BCE): The earliest form of the language appeared in oral hymns called the Vedas, composed in the northwestern parts of South Asia.

Because it seems to be suggesting Sanskrit came from PAKISTAN 🤣🤣🤣🤣

🤡
The Mahabharata which describes the Indo-Aryans of the NW as mleccha predates the arrival of Islam by multiple centuries. And you keep avoiding my main point - if actual Indo-Aryans who shared the same ancestry as the original Hindus were considered mleccha, what makes you think the majority of Hindus, descendants of native lowborns and tribals who had nothing to do with the Aryans and had their own pre-existing religions and beliefs, were not considered mleccha?

The Indus Valley Civilisation, Harrapa, Mohenjendaro and ANY other civilisation that was based in Pakistan is OUR history and OUR history ALONE. Foreigners/NON-Pakistanis have NO RIGHTS, CONNECTION or ANY CLAIMS to those civilisations. They are the heritage of Pakistan and Pakistan ONLY.

The ONLY problem is that Pakistani people di not study, analyse or celebrate their rich civilisational heritage. That SHOULD change.
