Why all countries especially small Muslim states flocking to Pakistan for defense. A debate

Sudan, Libya, Kenya, Nigeria and others even Maldives

Why all countries especially small Muslim states flocking to Pakistan for defense. A debate

My point of view is may be the knew more about results of Operation Sindoor than what we told to media.

Qunky hamne dukaan kholi hue hy.

Inevitably 2 things have come together at the same time

1) Tandoor and the shock of Pakistan beating India
2) Pakistan's traditional industries (POF, PAC, HIT etc0 showing that although what we have is not cutting edge we can produce en mass. Russia/Ukraine and US/Iran showed that it is not high tech alone that wins wars, mass/numbers count in the longer run, heck we had so much 155mm round we sent them to Ukraine

Smaller countries also realise when you deal with Pakistan it is not just buyer/seller, we often give the whole package, training, Pak officers deputised, capacity building etc

To give you an example two Maldives cadets graduated from PMA this year, Azeris train at PAFA and PNA, PMA and PAFA are always full of Saudis and Qataris in addition to most muslims nations sending mid ranking officers to our staff colleges.

When we set up Nigerians and Azerics on JF-17, unlike French or Russians we did not deliver just kit. Many of them spent a lot of time in Pakistan, we lent their air forces simulator time, we trained their instructors, we ensure they had MFI-17s too so they could replicate basic training of PAF o their home soil, we were there every step of the way to help new weapons integration.

Fron what I know not even Chinese do this, mainly just Brits ad Americans. Countries recognise we are not just selling stuff but genuinely helping them build their own defence

Simple. Pakistan offers value the West cannot, and without the restrictions it imposes on its weapons.

240M people! We underestimate the population advantage that Pakistan has over most other countries.

This is projected to grow to 390M people by 2050 timeframe, making Pakistan either the 3rd or the 4th most populous country in the world.

Human resource is the key value add that Pakistan can offer. Unskilled labor, security, back office etc. are the key areas to invest in the coming years.

Pakistan offers an ample and assured supply of well trained soldiers, operating under a unified command with quick decision making. Not many countries can offer this.

India and Pakistan contribute bulk of the soldiers to UN peace keeping forces. It is a tradition from British times to fight for someone else. We do it without external or lofty motivations. These tiny gulf countries can only dream of it

Times are changing

The world is changing

Pakistan, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, GCC, Turkic world, Arab world and the wider Muslim world needs to rise

We have mutual enemies and we need to plan

That's what's happening now

Europe is ageing, the U.S is erratic, both are lurching to the right
We have enemies like Zionists, hindutva and white supremacists etc

Now is the time for Muslim countries to make a bold move and Pakistan is central to this plan

You beat me to it, this as going to be my main point - Pak has "muscle" and the eastern countries are seeing how the future will likely shape with large population centres.

Add Pak has a credible military, a developing industrial base, strong relations across the muslim world, strategic location, untapped other resources. The main thing dragging it down is internal divisions and miss management. If they get real law and order in place with these terror attacks stopping Pak could take off, it has all the ingredients.

I guess these nations relative to where they are then Pakistan is a step up.....Muslim nation, nuclear power, china Ally and battle hardened, cheaper

And USA is withdrawing so they have more freedom geopolitically

Big military, well established in many ways. Mostly self sufficient, blind faith (most don't speak Arabic), easy to hire for the guise of a religious cause, no complicated demands for economies of scale to Pakistan

because of the security dynamics and the neighbours we have, its been a tough road for our military (battle-hardened), and now the world is realizing that you need the tough guys when the going gets tough!

ignoring some bad corrupt apples, but we do have indeed a very brave, valiant and battlehardened military force. We may be small but the punch we pack has done wonders and shocked the world.

Pakistan is slowly, but surely, on the way to its rightful place/honor soon. At least I believe in it, and we have a growing tougher responsibility ahead....Pakistan has been selected for that role.....Divine decisions!
