Why should Pakistan accept a British criminal?

Why is Pakistan being forced and threatened of sanctions by growing voices from British politicians, far right activists and news outlets on taking a convicted serial r*pist and pedophile, Shabir Ahmed who has recently been released from prison. Ahmed came to the UK in 1970s and has spent most of his life in the UK. His crimes were committed in the UK and should face full force of the law. It is not Pakistans responsibility.

Maybe britishers want us to make him MNA, or maybe Deputy Prime Minister if he is lucky.

UK is a country that has stripped the citizenship of Shamima Begum -- who was born in the UK -- more than it can strip the citizenship of Shabir Ahmed, who is a naturalized citizen.

This is a dangerous thing for a government to do to its citizens, and at a whim. If people in the UK are outraged by his release, they should blame the government for having lax laws. In a country where the rule of law is paramount, he served his time and deserves to be released. You don't have to like it.

They have a long history of collecting snakes in their backyard to be used as pressure groups with no regard for public safety.

How many years was Altaf Hussain allowed to run a campaign of terror on Karachi from London?

How many Pakistanis have died because of MQM, BLA and PTM allowed full banking privileges to move money around coordinate militancies?
If only folks knew the history of fugitive protection that goes on at His Majesty's pleasure! How can one forget the "platelets" saga?

On topic, nobody would have complained if these serial child abusers got harsh sentencing in the first place, but now that his measly sentence has lapsed, somehow Pakistan should shoulder the burden??

I hope Pakistan rejects it forcefully.
