No 10 said none of the aid went to Pakistan’s government, but instead went to charities and other bodies working in the country. Pakistan has limited tax revenues and relies heavily on foreign aid to fund vital services

The UK has found Pakistan's Achilles heel, ie lack of money. Sounds like he may well be on a plane back to Pakistan very soon if the UK pulls on the purse strings of aid to Pakistan ?

The only reply to this blackmail should be to reject the aid.
