This is where as a Muslim, islam comes into it for us


Years ago I used to work at a company, and was part of a team
Almost everyone was fine there, but their was one dude who I occasionally used to have discussions/arguments about religion/culture

And his argument was always, Muslims should assimilate, that we are oppressing women or our youth,
That we are forcing our way of life and not adapting to the super duper modern world.

And I used to argue back, about why and how our faith and culture provides the basis of our family and community system

Today I would absolutely rip him apart (in discussion)




In the end, we stopped talking to each other yet another argument

This was because whilst he was banging on about how Muslims should assimilate and adopt western values

I pointed out
That he cheats on his wife all the time
And he was currently estranged from him wife because he had found out she had cheated in him
Whilst they were split up, she had started a relationship with the guy she cheated with
He doesn't get to see his children much
He complains about her and their arguments and is responsible for his own food and breakfast

And I pointed out, that I as a Muslim
Have a traditional family, marriage and wife
My house is spotless
My wife makes the effort to keep our house clean, have breakfast and dinner and home cooked meals for her family
I can trust her character and loyalty and my own
My children are raised in my faith and culture and connected to our wider community


Why the fukkity fcuk would I change my situation to follow his fcuked up path


I think he wanted to hit me, but I would have torn him a new azzhole

We didn't speak much after that



For all the high brow bullshit atheists come up with, they really have no answer how to maintain family and communities and what values to teach the youth
And I am making the above statement based upon the reality of the degradation of the relationship and other systems happening across the world and especially in societies that have lost their faith and culture

Atheists will ALWAYS die out because they tend to die out and NEVER have a spiritual, deeper basis for their existence.

Wow, I've been reading the last few pages, and the discussion has ranged from morality and religion to de-hyphenation.

Whatever the case may be, morality is a fickle ground, what is considered moral today may not remain moral tomorrow.

What do you think should be the appropriate age for marriage or adulthood? 18? 21? In the past, it was as low as 8-12 and was perfectly accepted. Morality changes with time, if you remain stuck, you won't progress. Same with Polyandry and Polygamy.

Religion and people are not constant. What is more "correct" the current structure and order, or the past one? No one can say. Only dogma prevails.

Our religion makes us brothers (brothers in islam).
We associate ourselves with all our muslim brethren, all over the world.
We experience that as well when we visit our Holy Mosques in KSA, where we're together with our brothers/sisters from every corner of the world.
Its the strongest bond from centuries and it unites us(muslims).
One Almighty God, One Book(The Noble Quran) and One Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

My friend the world population is fast reaching it's zenith before we have a COLLAPSE

The old demographic warnings of 100 billion of humanity was false

Take Italy for example
Population of almost 60 million
Average age almost 50
Low birth rate


Most of the population is within a decade a half of retirement


The society is ageing FAST

And you have a smaller and smaller pool of youth to have children and families,
Those children are your future tax payers, workers etc

So in the past their was for example 6 workers for every pensionable person

Now it's almost 2 workers for every pensionable person and getting worst fast



People don't have the family system to protect them as they get older and are reliant on the state and old folks homes


Who do you think is going to pay for all this, all the pensions, social care and health care????????


Why do you think the west is in decline??? And brining in armies of migrants

Overpopulation is indeed bad, but you need a sensible and balanced family system to keep society afloat

Once people lose faith, and culture then the family collapsed and atheism doesn't have any values to teach to youth to try and give them guidance towards marriage and family


We Muslims risk the same unless we understand and embrace islam

Strangely, since independence, the Hindu population has increase faster then Muslim population in Pakistan.
The Muslim Population by a factor of 8, the Hindu Population by a factor of 10.

Correct but North Indians are similar to Punjabis, in looks and culture, they have been mixing for 1000s of years. Although yes on paper they are different. Central India, South India and East are different, in looks and culture.

Every state within India is so much diverse that you can literally carve 27 states out of my country (if that logic applies)
Language changes every 300 miles ,food changes every 200 miles, and every state has its own set of diverse cultures

Let me give you an example with one of the smallest states -uttarakhand



Two major groups garhwali and kumaoni
Plus others and 6 languages and god knows how many tribes even Tibetan Buddhists
