This offensive seems a little too good to be true. It appears that the Saudi proxy forces were told to stand down. It has all the hallmarks of a standdown offensive. The same as the original isis offensive in Iraq in 2014 vs the Iraqi army and the fall of Damascus.

The Houthis get full credit for being ready and willing to take advantage. But maybe the CIA is trying to punish or overthrow MBS by putting him in this bind. Maybe they are trying to put pressure on the Mecca alliance to show that US forces are still needed in the region.

This is eerily similar to fall of saigon/kabul after the withdraw of american troops, these mercenary puppets dont even last 24 hours when the real battle starts.

Imo there is probably more to this. Saudi never controlled the proxy forces in Yemen. The US did. Saudi probably doesn't even control their own airforce. The US does. MBS was not the guy that the CIA wanted for the job.

Yes this is a possibility. Now Saudis can run into the arms of Israel for protection as some their devoted supporters have already claimed and conveniently blame those bad Eye-raneens and Hoothees for it. Rest of the GCC can join and Abraham Accords will become Abrahams Shield, as planned many years ago.
