Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Yep. Ansarallah has made huge gains in Taiz and now controls 90% of Taiz. It’s fall appears inevitable, and likely a matter of a few weeks.

Won't Taiz be a big burden ? Why not focus on oil rich Maarib province ? It's loss will deal a fatal economic blow to the pro-Saudi government.

Perhaps the Saudis have threatened to bomb it to smithereens if the Houthis take Maarib and that has deterred Houthis for now.

“kill box” copium merchants in disarray

Use hopium @KAL-EL favorite word but man not a fan of this fighting among brother against brother but all that air support from Saudis you would have thought they be giving more than JUST 1 PERCENT of their FIREPOWER to prevent Houthis from marching so easily past these people

Afaik and fyi I don't keep up with the news so if IK than that means it truly over
Southern Yemeni front is collapsing just like ANF and Syrian Bashar regime collapsed so the writing is already on the wall
Saudis would want to put boots on the ground but that wont solve anything long term cause we (Saudi, Pak, Turkey) cant stay there forever, and we'd needs atleast to 200-300k coalition forces to actually put an end to Houthis for good but there's no end goal there even in that perfect case scenario because than
They'll just become insurgents and pop back in when we reduce our numbers down to 50k and become a supporting partner to whatever regime that replaces the Houthis
itll be 5-10 years long ordeal with no gains

It's a complicated situation but a boots-on-the-ground engagement would be the wrong move at this point imo
Need a carrots-and-sticks approach

Can't even get mad at the Saudis for this because we are dealing with a similar Afghan Taliban situation where we can't exactly march in, can't destabilize them, can't starve em etc etc
You just need to deal with them however best you can and see what comes next
its a difficult situation to be in.

ideally we want to see peace between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, and for the muslim countries to have peace. Both Yemen and KSA are dear to us.

There are just too many external and internal players involved, each with different or overlapping interests and there is always foreign interference as well. Thats geopolitics these days.

The current fighting/war/conflict if it becomes big will end up consuming the entire mideast, which plays right into the zionists/west agenda to loot the money from the 'currently rich' arabs and sow seeds of chaos and anarchy and destruction in muslim lands which only benefits the west and zionists.

Geolocated movement today on Bab Al mandeb IMG_20261005_180236.jpg

The front line forces seem thin on both sides but more so on the government side which is understandable considering the rebels control most of the population and hence the conscripted manpower.

So whoever is able to concentrate forces and launch the offensive a d. Exploit those gaps, is likely to gain Territory.

Currently we don't know how much steam does the Govt counter offensive has. They could waltz 20-30 km more like today and reach mocha or get counter-attacked and retreat back to starting lines.

Time will tell.

As for Taiz, the situation is dire. If the govt doesn't launch offensives to relieve the city, we could have another Aleppo on our hands although I doubt the Yemeni govt forces within the city have the tenacity of Syrian rebels. Atleast they have some air support.

This is too early to make grand statements on. The houthi rebels tried to entrench themselves in newly captured areas, especially in lowlands of Bab Al mandab, there is no guarantee the Yemeni army might be able to do it. For they already lost these areas couple of weeks ago after having the opportunity to dig in for years.

I think most legitimate news media including FOX News has been reporting that Houthis are making a sweep for it…..

There’s lots of footage of Houthi fighters getting mowed down by trucks and gunfire on the beaches the last couple hours. It’s clear the Houthis are losing control over Bab al Mandab

Bab al mandab area is flat and difficult to defend against hit and run raids. Taiz and its heights have the priority. If Taiz is secured, the US-Saudi-British-French-Greece-Meccepact-backed terrorists on the coast will be wiped out.

Counter offensive has just started , reinforcements haven't reached the front yet..... patience is the key ... verily houthis goose is cooked.... major offensive will start from the East , end goal is not taiz it's Sana.

—❗️🇸🇦/🇾🇪 NEW: Yemen announces the entire airspace of Saudi Arabia as unsafe and tells airlines to avoid it

@Middle_East_Spectator
Yea man , houthis have unleashed their secret armada of flying ships to control Saudi airspace.

Problem is people keep saying that and the Houthis keep taking over more and more again I’m not big on this war but Houthis are definitely fearless with the opposition seemingly have no interest in a real fight to lose their lives for people they feel no real loyalty too and are in the military for a paycheck there was a n article that many on their payroll of opposition were not even showing up just taking money more of a ghost army than a real army reminds me when Isis(not comparing Houthis with Isis they’re not butchering innocent women and children)took over north Iraq because many in the Iraqi military weren’t even showing to bases but sitting at home being paid

It's fake news that "the Aden government" has taken Bab al-Manbeb and also that 250,000 Houthis died in 24 hours...; it's part of a disinformation campaign originating from the Zionist headquarters and these are blatant misinformation aimed at a semi-literate audience. These fake news stories follow the lines of "40 beheaded babies," "the Strait of Hormuz opened," "co-pilot entered with an axe or knife and hijacked the plane"...

However, despite being fake news, the KSA carried out its largest bombing raid with 100 fighter jets, and Aden forces are beginning to arrive in the vicinity of Dhobab.

NOTE: These tactics of war used by the KSA and (hired mercenary terrorists) are the same as those used by Israel against Palestinians, Ukraine, the Gulf War, the Afghanistan War, the Vietnam War...

This is an indication that there is a single military center behind all these conflicts, as the military strategies are always the same.

Lol. They won´t be able to take Taiz and is not even of worry right now. As we speak the Houthis are fleeing from the taiz areas they captured yesterday. Taiz is like Stalingaard it is a houthi graveyard there are fiercer people inside Taiz..

The battle on sanaa will open shortly

That guy you replied to reminds me about Chemical Ali. Who said Baghdad has not fallen when it fell
