Yes it's Yemenis who are dying because houthis chose to start a civil war instead of letting the people decide what they want when the govt fell in 2014. Instead, they started a civil war by attempting to take over. Conscripted sunni children into the army and threw them inro war to protect their sectarian state. Good enough to die, not good enough to rule apparently. That's reserved for their fanatic family.

This could all end tomorrow if houthis do what they claimed to do in 2014. Leave when then govt fell. It's been 12 years. They haven't.

The southerners and the Yemen gov´t plus the Maribbeans will defeat the houthis they are ferocious.

You will see the battle inside Sana´a very soon. The Saudis knew all along that the southerners, Maribbeans and the gov´t is enough to deal with the houthis no foreign soldier will set foot in Yemen.

Once the battle passes Sana´a and the houthis are gathered in the north, the saudis may put in ground forces from the north and punch thru Saada and the Tribal heartland of the houthis which will be basically open at that point

How long did the Taliban and Northern Alliance wage war?

There is no military solution here that benefits the Saudis (or Yemenis overall). MBS will eventually have to face the same decision facing Trump on the Iran war, but with far fewer choices and bigger blowback, since he chose to stoke a conflict right across the border.

The outcomes of this operation were not limited merely to recapturing strategically vital areas such as "Dhu Bab" and the international strait, but rather constituted a major slap to Iranian bets on controlling Bab al-Mandab, thereby regaining field initiative at the lowest possible human and material cost.

Do not hate the players but hate the game..

This is a fully fledged conventional warfare where the engagement lines stretch almost a 1000 miles. This is a fully active war hence it is bound to become fluid where frontlines can change back and forth or one side can be rolled over etc etc.

This is not the fake war between the US-Iran were fighting was a time waste tit for tat but this is an actual war.

Tit for tat stone throwing is for cowards but real men fight in a conventional war at this magnitude and I know you do not understand the concept of this because you can only throw a missile while hidding in population centers.

I know this is to confusing for you to understand that the fronts move in a 1000 miles long engagement line..

In short this is just an insignificiant outburst by an insigniciant individual who has insignificiant amount of brain cells to understand what is a modern conventional warfare
 
Iran ordered the Houthi advance from what I read . Saudi's asked for military support from US, who said no .. lol. Saudi's and Yemen are now starting the counter attack. Might get ugly before things are done. Humanitarian crisis, threat to Saudi oil infrastructure, but could be worth the cost. Houthis are in retreat.

The Saudis do not really care about oil tankers anymore or any of that stuff like the occasional rockets fired at Abha Airport in the south etc etc.. All that is pointless really. Besides KSA is a massive country hence the rockets will not be as successful as they were against Israel as they have to travel long distances..

The houthis burned out that card as now the Saudis do not give a flying fuk. Besides now over 50% of Saudi Arabia´s economy is non-oil.. Also not to forget the Saudis want the oil prices to skyrocket hence hitting oil tankers or pipeline will benefit them as long as the price increases.

The Houthis burned out their only card of survival and do not have any of that left but right now if they want any survival they have to fight for it street for street and mountain for moutain. They will be eliminated from Yemen insha-allah very soon

Some Iranian shills were celebrating on here when Houthis took some land not understanding that Saudi, Pakistan and Yemen were just caught off guard.
This is the FAFO stage for the Houthis, they are gonna lose thousands of fighters, territory and their leadership is also a target.
