Saudi Arabia took control of Bab el Mandab with the help of their western masters to ensure safety of Israel's shipping lines.

You are reading too much into this. No body is forcing KSA into submission. It is its own doing. I mean, other countries should have no authority om establishing blockades on foreign countries. Who gives this authority to KSA to announce and implement economic and air blockade over yemen (which is a sovereign country) ?

Pakistan has signed a treaty, and in reality must honour the treaty, otherwise the treaty is dead on arrival at the first test (we don't know the terms of the pact and if it covers Yemen or not ) ?

( i think (but I don't know) that the treaty will have a clause for the specific scenario of Yemen given that it has history and is a known issue ).
