While that would be ideal for everyone in the ME, it will also require Iran's regime to significantly change it's behaviour in the region, and frankly it's entire mentality in how it deals with all it's neighbours and their people. Their constant attempts in meddling, occasionally successfully, in every country's internal affairs, it's consistent use of sectarianism all across the region to court minority Shia populations to become their proxies and more loyal to them than their own countrymen, nation, and people, and arming them up to the point where they become a defacto state within a state, that inevitably leads to friction, division, and violence. Can they actually stop themselves from continuously trying doing that, while also not cynically and deceptively not using the Palestinian people's plight and suffering as an excuse to justify their actions when they have no intention of actually fighting Israel or helping the Palestinians in any real tangible way that leads to a significant material improvement of their situation? Can they actually commit to that and not engage in their expansionist goals in other people's countries after spending the past 50 years doing it?

There is a good reason why all the Gulfies are scared of Iran and run to daddy Trump, because all those countries have not so insignificant Shia minority populations that Iran can exploit and weaponize to destabilize them, subvert them, and weaken them if not overthrow them entirely. Will Iran be willing to stop doing that and work with all it's neighbouring countries strictly on an official state level only and respect their independence and sovereignty and not try to keep meddling into their internal affairs? Or will they continue to use sectarianism to try and destabilize every country they can and their governments in their never ending pursuit to forcefully dominate the entire region and bring it under it's control in their stupid pursuit of reviving their ancient Persian empire fantasies, against the overwhelming will and wishes of the vast majority of people there?

That's a decision that Iran will also need to make if it truly wants the US completely out of the region. All those governments are individually pretty weak, and can't stand up to Iranian coercion for too long on their own, and their no. 1 concern is going to be any threat against their rule, which right now is primarily Iran's regime and it's conduct.

Every tom dick and harry was meddling in the Syrian civil war but you can only see Iran. The recent wars also point to why that Syrian war happened in the first place and why Iran got involved.
