The so called joint assault was quickly countered and the yemen government lost precious land. Now it seems the Yemen government and southern transitional council or w/e they called now are itching to fight each other again while the houthis focus their efforts on the saudis.

If you watched this, the two colonels who have spent their careers teaching and arming saudis/Yemenis said the houthis are formidable fighters while the yemen government are very disunited, poor fighters and are more likely to fight among themselves then choose to face the houthis.

I don't have a dog in the fight so we will have to see what happens. None of us own a crystal ball that tells the future but looking purely at the previous saudi war against houthis and US bombings of houthis, they are resilient fighters.

Everyone under the sun has bombed the houthis they are still there, a security agreement is only real way to get peace across the region not your salivating ethnic cleansing option.

That mini-marshal plan you outlined is not realistic or feasible. Not only is the Saudi government not capable of executing on the developmental part of it, but it will not help them in the slightest even if they did succeed in doing it.

It will actually make them more vulnerable and be helping to empower the very threat that will come for them sooner or later. The Houthis ideology is in line with Iran's regime, it's based on religiously mandated fanatical dogma, that is inherently expansionist and violently domineering, and fundamentally sectarian. They will always continue trying to expand their power, influence and control at everyone else's expense and detriment and mass suffering, in foreign countries and over foreign peoples they have no right to meddle in, by exploiting the local Shia's there. This is an ideologically motivated organization, and they are animated by religious zeal and fervor. We've seen and dealt with their terrorist sibling before, we don't need to try and pretend this is not the exact same terroristic ideologies of the Shia variety this time. No amount of funding, economic cooperation or appeasement you extend them will adjust their attitude and behaviour towards the entire region. That's not how religious extremists think and operate. They will continue to pursue their relogious indoctrination of trying to conquer you, your land and your people through force whether you like it or not. You either wake up to this very essential fact and try to stop them now, or wait until your country also turns into Yemen and Syria.

You just aren't reading what they are putting down in our region properly, look past their BS and completely ineffectual hollow and deliberately manipulative sloganeering designed to appeal to our emotional and non-rational side of the brain, and realize it's been a very effective PR tactic they've been purposely and strategically employing to hide their true intention and designs on all of us. Judge them by what they materially have been able to actually influence, change and accomplish, that's where all their efforts and attention and money is actually being focused on and put into, and it's nowhere near Palestinians or Israel.
