Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

It's fake news that "the Aden government" has taken Bab al-Manbeb and also that 250,000 Houthis died in 24 hours...; it's part of a disinformation campaign originating from the Zionist headquarters and these are blatant misinformation aimed at a semi-literate audience. These fake news stories follow the lines of "40 beheaded babies," "the Strait of Hormuz opened," "co-pilot entered with an axe or knife and hijacked the plane"...

However, despite being fake news, the KSA carried out its largest bombing raid with 100 fighter jets, and Aden forces are beginning to arrive in the vicinity of Dhobab.

NOTE: These tactics of war used by the KSA and (hired mercenary terrorists) are the same as those used by Israel against Palestinians, Ukraine, the Gulf War, the Afghanistan War, the Vietnam War...

This is an indication that there is a single military center behind all these conflicts, as the military strategies are always the same.
Yes my Brazilian bro , Saudi bombs are harmless , they are filled with rose petals.

Counter offensive has just started , reinforcements haven't reached the front yet..... patience is the key ... verily houthis goose is cooked.... major offensive will start from the East , end goal is not taiz it's Sana.
The govt doesn't have the manpower for Sanaa unless it retakes the sunni population centers controlled by the Houthi rebels to raise forces from.

Since the war began, The Yemeni govt has fought for strategic areas, marib's oil and western coast, and half heartedly tried to defend the population centers. That has come to bite them.

The best case scenario for them that they MIGHT be able to achieve is hold bab Al mandab, maybe extend until mocha, and then destroy the pincers around taiz. Dreams of Sanaa are delusional unless they have a hidden army hiding in the desert no one knows of.

Even the things I mentioned I am not 100% certain the can achieve.

The Yemeni army for years have been sitting on it's ass instead of modernizing. There are some drone units and the footage of drone drop munitions have jumped up significantly but clearly limited to few brigades like the giants, instead of the entire army.

They have failed to combat rebel numerical superiority with technological one.

They bank on Saudi airforce but targeting a moving rebel army in close quarters to Yemeni army, with no distinguishing features that can be spotted from the air, the Saudi airforce can only target fixed position which there aren't many especially on a moving front.

Anyway, the one that adapts faster will win.

Use hopium @KAL-EL favorite word but man not a fan of this fighting among brother against brother but all that air support from Saudis you would have thought they be giving more than JUST 1 PERCENT of their FIREPOWER to prevent Houthis from marching so easily past these people

Airpower do not win battles and if it did battles such as Vietnam, Syria and Afghanistan would have played different.. But conventional forces are the only one who can change any reality

400k is reserved for Sanaa on the Marib frontline there is plenty of manpower for sanaa and firepower

Avoid getting bogged down in tactics and analysis of Yemeni army , no one expects miracles from Yemeni government army... look at the bigger picture and the powers involved to get a whiff of the game plan .

Sana´a will be opened with heavy bombardment and overwhelming forces including in encirclement

Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council chairman, Rashad al-Alimi, announced the launch of “Operation Dawn of Yemen”

The internationally recognized government said it had “exhausted all opportunities for de-escalation” with the Iran-backed Houthis and put state forces on full alert.

Hours later, a military spokesman said government forces had launched more than 1,000 strikes on Houthi artillery and rocket positions, fortifications, approach and reinforcement routes, supply lines, logistics, and combat reinforcements.

PLC-affiliated forces broke through in southwestern Taiz.

Nation’s Shield and the Southern Giants Brigades captured Dhubab Airport, then cut the Dhubab–Mokha road and severed Houthi supply lines.Lt. Col. Majid Abdullah al-Nuzayli said PLC-affiliated forces now control the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

Great. After defeating Houthis Will those heroes from gigant brigade hed to Palestine or..Ah they are waiting For Adrian revolutionaries to go first.

Al-Jawf is beginning to collapse as well..

URGENT Government forces in Al-Jawf have taken control of the Al-Yatmah city and are advancing towards Al-Hazm

Those who have access to satellite pictures of the region surrounding Sanaa will be amazed by the level of troops concentration.

There’s lots of footage of Houthi fighters getting mowed down by trucks and gunfire on the beaches the last couple hours. It’s clear the Houthis are losing control over Bab al Mandab

Reports are the parts ( BAM) Bab Al Mandab coast have been liberated by Yemeni Government forces. Holding territory around BAM will be very difficult for the Houthis since it is flat with little or no cover from Saudi Airstrikes happening on them.

Yea man , houthis have unleashed their secret armada of flying ships to control Saudi airspace.
They multiple forms of air defenses they even have those loitering anti air defense missiles like Iran the 358 Iran has also recently upgraded those for a much longer range for a group that has taken out 1 or 2 f 15,multiple drones and etc you would think you would give them a little credit that they can at least shutdown a large portion of southern Saudi Arabia

Houthis were never going to be able to hold on to large territory they had taken. They took over too much territory too quickly. They've overextended their supply lines or their limited resources. Worst place for any army to be is in the open with no air cover.

To be fair a lot of weapons and supplies left behind by the opposition but I agree you can’t keep marching on to the next city or village or port etc unless you have the men to secure those areas the offensive will slow down they will reinforce any and all areas they took over even if the opposition is doing “tactical retreat” Saudi Air Force will bomb anything and everything they will destroy entire cities to prevent Houthis from going further
