Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

if this time saudis fail to give it proper ending then this qould be the blunder of the century.

samw kind of what you are saying every state has right to protect its intersts.
I am saying Pakistan's interests are in putting its own house in order first before embarking on foreign adventures. I don't think that is what you are saying.

But we can move on.

Paksitan's interest is putting house in order as well as protecting its intetests outward.
A state can do both things. Thats what Pakistan is doing

Don’t get so caught up in Patriotism/nationalism that you think the Pak/Turks are going to be able to perform GI Joe style military miracles here.

How is that ‘drone technology’ working out in terms of ‘get rid/degrade’ TTP and/or BLA/BRA in Pakistan?

Can’t get our own banana republic run by the Field Monkey in order, but hey, lets brag about how we’re going to take down the Houthis at the behest of a fascist Saudi Regime responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Pakistani military strikes on the Taliban so far is not to remove them from power. YET!!!

PAF strikes on Taliban used in other ways force them to change their ways and to destroy whatever they need it for in combat we hit their vast ammo and fuel dumps s

You’re not satisfied with Pakistans military actions done that’s fine don’t whine to me.

Go tell Rawalpindi your self

Don't forget the third card that is still yet to be played when Saudi wants to escalate

Hardline factions within Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) possess significant arsenals of Iranian-designed one-way attack drones, unguided rockets, and short-range ballistic missiles. [1, 2, 3]

Drone Capabilities
    • One-Way Attack Drones: Factions operate fixed-wing, fuel-engine suicide drones—including types matching components of the Iranian Shahed-101—with operational ranges exceeding 250 kilometers. [1, 2, 3]
    • Operational Usage: Operating under the Islamic Resistance in Iraq umbrella, these groups have launched persistent drone salvos targeting U.S. forces in Iraq and Syria, as well as regional infrastructure in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. [1, 2]

Missile and Rocket Capabilities
    • Short-Range Ballistic Missiles: Hardline groups have acquired short-range ballistic systems supplied by Tehran, supplementing traditional arsenals of unguided rockets, mortars, and artillery. [1, 2]
    • Cross-Border Reach: Intelligence assessments note that several factions retain cross-border missile configurations with ranges surpassing 100 kilometers capable of hitting regional targets. [1, 2]
    • Development and Storage Sites: Underground depots, testing grounds, and development infrastructure have historically been tied to areas like Jurf al-Sakhar, which have faced repeated foreign airstrikes. [1]

Hmm. Israel has used Saudi airspace in the past to transit and refuel in its attacks on Yemen.

Trying to be fair and your my buddy but sounds suspicious Bibi likes watching Muslims kill each other as a spectator and if it weakens one or 2 future enemies all the better for him

BTW why is Taiz city is such a problem to full capture by either side

The Proper Taiz city is held by the gov´t.. But the houthis are on the suburbs north of the city and they want to protect IBB that is why. Taiz is very difficult area for the Houthis much like Marib

Its obvious to see this is not the houthis of the 2015, this houthi can touch saudi arabia and hurt them and their pockets with missiles and drones.

Saudi should be careful because it wasn't even the houthis that bombed that east west pipeline it was the iraqi PMF. Saudis keep playing with fire and Iraqi PMF might blow up a few more refineries and oil fields.

Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have an estimated active size of roughly 204,000 to 240,000 registered personnel. [1, 2]

Key Size and Growth Details
    • Current Strength: Official Iraqi reports and tracking groups like The Washington Institute estimate active manpower between 204,000 and 238,000 fighters. [1, 2]
    • Historical Growth: The group started much smaller with about 60,000 fighters when it was first formed in 2014 to fight the Islamic State. [1, 2]
    • Fractions: The PMF functions as an umbrella organization that unites roughly 67 different armed factions. Most groups are Shia Muslim, though smaller units represent Sunni, Christian, and Yazidi minorities. [1, 2, 3]
    • Funding: According to reports highlighted by the Atlantic Council, the force operates with an annual government budget of approximately $3.5 billion. [1]

Meh! The Houthis were actully much stronger back in 2015..

but now they are on their last legs plus they have been in a war of attrition for over 12 years now. This is the weakest the houthis have ever been and this is the most Saudi Arabia have been emboldened.

Iraq will not fire a pip and could get risked getting invaded themselves and they understand fully the magnitude of the risk.

The Saudis doesn´t give a fuk about few rockets and there especially on oil tankers. Just low target that is the truth..
