Oversimplification. Another, more accurate interpretation, is simply that Iran had its opportunity to build a powerful empire that might challenge its strongest foes. For now it has failed. This creates an opportunity for Pakistan if we can negotiate around several tricky obstacles.

KSA is actually rather a weak entity and if Pakistan can seize this opportunity, it could alter the power balance in the middle east decisively.

I can't understand what the Houthis were even thinking they might actually achieve from this, other than uniting everyone , from the normally very reserved and pragmatic Malaysia to the khassi state of UAE and all and sundry in between , 100% behind Saudi Arabia. I would suggest that even most Iranians might be surprised and concerned by this move. Someone sitting in Sanaa has miscalculated. endless war and endless weapons usage are the best solution for the weapons manufacturer and a lot of foreign people live from huge ksa military budget.

another reason to avoid foreign military hardware supply, your suppliers (like powerful and traitor usa) never be interested in you achieving peace.

in the end have proven more reliable iran home grown missile and drone programs than ksa x100 military budget buying foreign more advanced weapons.
