Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

Pakistan has seized the opportunity 😀 now play the drums and shout ' pax pakia in the middle east ' ... poor KSA is like Noah's ship in the storm with all the goodies loaded in it .
Pax Pak🤣

Pakistan hard state, or whatever to call it, needs to assert red lines that hold consequence to the region.

Either on the table or on the menu

For the last 50 years Pakistan was always on the table and our adversaries are pissed off and question ! How come this runt of a state is always on the table.
The Iranians, as good planners, have always tried to keep Pakistan in check from being a nation that can tip the balance

Pakistans first president's wife was Iranian and said to be an asset.

Man - this is very disappointed, I don't understand what is the end game for YEMEN? Are they retarded or something?

Definitely illegal to attack Muslims people unfortunately

When Saudi Arabia bombed every airport in Yemen you said nothing, but now they respond you are upset?

Moral posturing card is done, weaponising past grievances cannot always be used

Saudi got LOADS of criticism at the time who said it was ok

This situation is much more regionally consequential, everyone has a grievance

Yes Saudi Arabia must stop bombing on Yemen. I don't understand what is the end game for all of these Middle east situations, sigh man.

Killing civilians and innocent people must be avoided at all cost!

That's a partial view of the whole situation. Why Saudi bombed airport? Let's expand on that first. Iranians were threatening to block Bab AL Mandab through Houthis. An Iranian military plane with military advisors on it were trying to land on that airport despite Saudi repeated warnings that no Iranian planes were to land in yemen. All the lectures are only reserved for Saudis?

Is Yemen a province of Saudi Arabia?

The Saudis and Gulfies, with the full backing of the reigning world order, have tried everything to subdue the Houthis for close to a decade—and failed. The muscle power that the Saudis and Gulfies had relied upon to throw their weight around in the Muslim world entered the ring one too many times and tapped out.

The Saudis were doing the right thing by staying ringside and simply watching the rounds unfold. The prudent thing for them to do was to accept the new reality, be patient, and mould things over time to their long-term benefit. The Mecca Accords gave the Saudis the assurance they needed, but MBS got too excited and wrote a cheque of grandeur that reality could not cash. Not only has he put his kingdom in unnecessary danger, but he has also embarrassed Pakistan and Turkey with his adventurism.

Military alliances aren't built overnight. They require years of training, logistics, and coordination to build a cohesive multinational military force. The idea of Pakistan throwing its soldiers as meat into the battlefield is disgraceful, and the acceptance of that idea by some Pakistanis here is an even bigger disgrace.

Pakistan must abide by its commitments to defend the Holy Mosques and Saudi Arabia—but defence only. Pakistan and its military cannot, and must not, under any circumstances become tools of aggression and conquest in the hands of Arab princes and despots.

Do you realize Saudi is under attack and as per MDA, Pakistan is bound to help Saudia?
