Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

if KSA DOING ITS TERRORISM
IF HOUTHIS DOING ITS VALOUR even attacking civilian people who are ready for umrah .

the Arab qom needs to urgently reassess its priorities
That would require any Qom to actually have a voice in their government.

What we have is policy making by fascists and autocratic regimes that have completely locked out the majority of the population from governance.

The GCC royals, Sisi in Egypt and while not Arab, the Field Monkey in Pakistan -these fascists do not represent any Qaum, and their constitutional violations and destruction of civilian institutions is precisely why Pakistan is in the abysmal state it is.

And Pakistanis who support the Fauj and its atrocities and destruction of institutions in Pakistan should really not be telling the Arab Qaum anything. Go fix your own house first, where the Field Monkey overthrew another popular provincial government for the sake of Zionists and personal power.

Should use more lethal and devastating weapons.

Losing Taiz city to Houthis ‘worst’ scenario for Yemen government forces

By Yousef Mawry
Reporting from Sanaa, Yemen
The Ansar Allah Houthis are inching closer to taking over the city of Taiz. Over the past few weeks, they’ve taken over the city of Mocha, west of Taiz, they’ve taken over areas on the coast of Bab al-Mandeb, and the district of Dhubab.

Despite Yemeni government forces launching a counteroffensive to regain those territories, the Houthis continue to push forward. Their strategic plan is to engulf Taiz city and take over the surrounding Jabal Sabir Mountain, where clashes are currently happening.

Fighters are making their way to take over the top of this mountain despite heavy Saudi air strikes.

South of Taiz city, there is fierce fighting between the Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces and the Houthis. The worst thing that can happen now for government troops is to lose that strategic position, which is the city of Taiz.

Trump says he may ask Erdoğan to intervene in Yemen conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday he may seek President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's help in addressing escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, expressing confidence that the Turkish leader would respond positively to such a request.

"President Erdoğan, I think, would do as I ask," Trump told reporters before departing for a campaign trip to Alaska.

Trump did not elaborate on what role he might ask Erdoğan to play or indicate whether Washington had formally approached Ankara about possible involvement.

Asked whether Washington had decided to launch strikes against Houthi targets, Trump declined to give a direct answer but condemned the Iran-backed group's recent actions.

"They're behaving very badly," he said.

Trump's remarks came amid escalating hostilities in Yemen, where the Houthis have intensified attacks against Saudi Arabia as the repercussions of the eight-month U.S.-Iran war spread across the Middle East.

The group recently targeted King Khalid International Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, in attacks that killed 13 people and wounded more than 300 others, forcing authorities to close the city's airspace.

The Houthis have also stepped up attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and the strategically important Bab al-Mandab Strait, raising concerns over regional security and international shipping routes.

The latest escalation follows renewed fighting between the Houthis and forces loyal to Yemen's internationally recognized government, which is backed by a Saudi-led coalition.

Earlier this month, Yemeni government forces launched an offensive dubbed "Dawn of Yemen," aimed at recapturing Houthi-controlled territories and restoring government authority.

The Houthis have controlled the capital, Sanaa, and several other provinces since 2014, when the country's civil war intensified. A Saudi-led coalition intervened militarily in March 2015 in support of the internationally recognized government.

Fighting intensified again in July following the breakdown of a truce established in 2022, further complicating efforts to secure a lasting political settlement.

Giving weapons and advisors is the most I can see edrogan doing and he’s already doing that when reports start surfacing of both things trump will attempt to take credit for something that’s already in the works already

This war is going to come to slow grinding halt soon enough Houthis are fierce fighters but unless they can reinforce every area they capture with with troops and resources unless they can do that their lines are going to be stretched thin you can’t march on unless you can get more soldiers

So Israelis are really pushing Netanyahu’s offer to help MBS against Ansarallah on Channel i24, and then there’s this Pakistani commentator claiming his source personally SAW Israeli military officials in Saudi Arabia:

So it means now we can speak about an Israeli-backed Mecca-Pact (against AnsarAllah)?

Disagree.

A competent and qualified group of individuals can very much run a nation effectively and guide it onto a successful path.

Do you honestly think the overwhelming majority of human history has somehow not been the exclusive realm of competing autocratic nations? This whole representative democracy nonsense is a new ideology and is itself imperfectly and inconsistently applied.

Even ancient Greek/Roman progenitors of democracy always were in fact autocratic "council led" ventures.

Personally, I am happy for appointed experts to lead my country with zero faffing around and senseless distraction from uneducated and unqualfied simpletons.
