Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

You're right. But my comment was specifically regarding the respected member @tsunset . He is not a tortured and dismembered journalist as far as I am aware.
I understand it was directed at Tsun, but the point I was trying to make with my earlier flippant comment was that the Saudis regime does care about public opinion, domestic and to a degree global.

Saudi Arabia, as de facto custodian of the holiest places in Islam, had a responsibility to meet a much higher bar, and it failed. Its position and role in the global Muslim community demanded a far more neutral and non-interventionist global and regional role. Instead, it chose to escalate a sectarian and geo-political conflict with Iran and peoples deemed to be sympathetic to Iran, and has caused massive death and destruction in Africa (along with MBZ of the UAE),

Saudi Arabia without global respect (at least from Muslims) is just another crackpot dictatorship that just happens to be in control of the Holy Sites.

Video of the locations of the Houthi terrorist militia's ballistic missile network

The lying houtihs have been exposed here is a video from the Dhobad Airport... The Houthis are not in Bab- Al mandab and in Mayyun Islands. They have been cleaned from there and this is a video evidence from today..

From Bab al-Mandab Airport and from Bab al-Mandab and the giants of the southern winds, they send you peace and said: Convey to the tribes of Yemen to wrap up their families from the ranks of the Houthis. Don't believe that the Houthi at Bab al-Mandab wants to complete your families. The important thing: The armored vehicles are ready for whoever his soul whispers to him to descend on Hodeidah. My greetings.

@Blain2
For the sake of discussion, lets assume that autocratic governments in some developing countries, like Pakistan, make sense because, for a host of reasons, achieving a democratic consensus on critical structural reforms is next to impossible.

My issue with the Fauj is that it has had more than enough opportunities, through direct and hybrid martial laws, to do exactly that and it has failed. It failed because these periods of martial law were personality rather than institution driven, and the ‘personalities’ have continued to believe they can have it both ways - overthrow governments and then install puppet ‘elected governments’ so they can appear to be a ‘democracy’.

This whole approach is the problem- if the Fauj didn’t trust the politicians, then the Fauj should have done what the Iranians did and built up a system with a clear and formal role for the Fauj as an institution and not have it revolve around the individual of the Army Chief.

Hence my lament - Pakistan continues to suffer under incompetent dictatorships and hybrid regimes cobbled together by the Fauj, with no long term plan.
All fair points.

I feel the issue with either scenario is lack of continuity. For things to take root and become stabilized and better, we need consistency and continuity.

Why is it that in authoritarian countries like Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and even in the Middle East where plenty of monarchies operate, there is stability and incremental progress? The clear distinction there is that the system of governance moves forward consistently pushing their agenda over not years but decades.

They have their ills but those pale in comparison to Pakistan's. Case in point Jordan. Economically a really vulnerable state, no oil, no significant agricultural production, yet in all human development areas, they are ahead of Pakistan.

There are countless examples such as above. Similar examples exist in well-established democracies too...but my contention is lack of continuity.

no worries brother.. evil iranis will pay .... UAE has been boosted by Israel and saudis have received the Israeli further support in addition to bombing Evil zaidi shias mascarading as sunnis

Saudis have pakistani soldiers and Erdogans best wishes.. so evil Iranis will have no place to hide once Americans and Israelis also formally joing the mekkah accord and ibrahim accord will be just a formality.
I hope you will be proved incorrect regarding Israelis joining the war in support of Saudis. Of course Zionists are the enemies of Muslims and would try everything to fuel the war between Muslims. It's also more probable that many others wanted to test the Mecca Defense Alliance by pushing Saudis into Yemeni mess.

I hope Saudi's understand all that. Besides, Saudis are capable to crush Houthi terrorists in Yemen. Saudi Arabia cannot be blackmailed or forced to join Abraham accord by these tactics.

I would also like to point out that it's Iranian mullahs who had no shame in joining hands with the enemies of Allah and Muslims whenever an opportunity came their way.
  • Don't forget Irani mullahs procured Israeli weapons for killing Muslims of Iraq.
  • Irani mullahs covertly helped American invasions into Afghanistan and Iraq to topple the Sunni governments in those two countries. You know how many Muslims (probably more than a million) were killed in there.
  • Irani mullahs have an active and ongoing nexus with Indian RAW and Hindutva terrorists against Pakistan. With Iranian cooperation and active support, RAW has killed tens of thousands of innocent Pakistanis in terrorist attacks.
So, the yo*thia lies regarding the alleged Israeli-Saudi cooperation is no more than an effort to cover up the Iran-India-Israel alliance against Muslims.

PS: Some coward is continuously deleting my posts. I strongly protest that and condemn that cowardly act in the strongest possible terms. That coward should respond me and counter my argument logically rather than hiding behind like a coward rat and quietly deleting my posts.

Do you not agree that the most recent round of fighting between Saudi Arabia and Ansarullah started when Saudi Arabia bombed Sanaa airport with a delegation returning from Iran?

If not the above, I’d like to hear what you believe is the cause of the fighting restarting.

But back to the attack on Sanaa Airport by the Saudis - there is speculation that Trump and/or Netanyahu either forced or convinced MBS to carry out this attack, in order to tie down the Houthis and/or impact the Iranian theater in someway the runup to this threat to ‘bomb Iran into the stoneage’

If true, I’m not sure if the extent of the Houthi response was known/divulged to all/some parties. So loads of room to speculate with actual events on the ground.

In the end Yeman will suffer and normal people. KSA has entire money to build back but when KSA decides to destroy all civilian infra than no one will be to save Houthis. They are going to die like a dog just like there spokesperson. Houthis only brought inflation and misery to normal people in there country.
Idiot Irani mullahs think the same way. They think they can solve their problems by creating terrorist proxies in other countries. Instead these shaitan mullahs have pushed countless number of people to death, starvation, and human tragedy in those countries (Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, etc.)

Even tens or hundreds of thousands of common Irani people have been killed by these mullahs and their armed bands. A whole nation has been kidnapped by these mullahs with the power of gun.

The stability and peace can be achieved in the region only after this cancer (Irani mullahs) is somehow cured or chopped off.

Yes, your statement that 'most recent round of fighting between Saudi Arabia and Ansarullah started...' says it all. You cannot see that event in isolation. The IRGC goons and Iranian proxies in other countries kept attacking Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia was continuously under attack by Iran and its terrorist proxies. It had/has the right to act in self-defense. UN has already declared Houthis as terrorist group quite a few years ago.

Houthis are not a state, rather they are Iranian proxy that has created a state within state of Yemen. You cannot justify their cowardly terrorist attacks on civil airliners, airports, and energy infrastructure.

This menace must be crushed with full force by the world community. Only a dead terrorist is good terrorist.
