Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

@Shags101 our friend has a new timeline, lol

It is easy to understand what the Houthis are trying to attempt here.

They want to protect Mukha and Hoedidah from the recently prepared offensive on the coast hence they are using diverting tactics by all of sudden openning another front and over deploying to Lahj instead in order to save Mukha and Hoedidah.

The laymen will fall for that but that itself won´t work. As for now the Houthis are using drugged tribals as cannon fodders and forced recruitment but they will run of these drugged tribals very soon and they are using them as if they are worth nothing but when they run out then what?

There is no way out of this. You will find the Giants patient and anticipating once they beat down this hordes which will happen easy then the country will lay open.

When Taiz failed and now Lahj will fail the houthis will pay dearly for his own diverting tactics will come and bid him back. Desperately delaying Gov´t offensive on mukha and hoiedadah will not pay off but it will be a negative cascading effect just watch

@Persian Gulf when Ansarallah capture Taiz, where might the spare troops be redeployed?
Probably Marib and Al Jawf. Saudi proxies made some limited gains there in recent months

Recent gains in Lahij will secure Ansarallah control over Taiz and Bab al Mandab and free up a lot of manpower

Ansarallah has no desire to capture Aden

It has been previously stated that nothing short of scorch earth tactics would be required in Yemen governate.

I see the day started with some imaginary houthi victories..

There is a long road for this conflict tighten your seat belt Houthi supporters! Insha-allah by Ramandan it will become apparent to you that you will lose this war
Victory won't come easy , Yemeni forces are utterly incapable of delivering and Saudis are unwilling to pay the price for the victory...

Ansarallah have reportedly liberated Al Maqatirah district in Lahij

Once they reach the south coast they can clear out the Saudi proxy forces near Dhubab airport and consolidate their control over the Bab Al Mandab

Victory will come insha-allah. This is just classical diverting tactics nothing more.

They have lost Bab-Al mandab, Dhubab and Kah mountain but they have lied to their followers and now when they failed to liberate Taiz they over loaded with deployment to Lahj in order to delay the Giants offensive into Mukha and Hoeidadah.

All this does is to buy them some time but also it will force them to shade extensive cannon fodder manpower.. It will buy them time but it is a double edged sword and tactical suicide on the long term which means it will comeback to bite them. They know the giants won´t allow them to reach the sea hence the delay and buying time before the giants big launch offensive into Mukha and Hoeidadah. It gives the houthis the delay they want as the Giants will be forced to send reinforcement in Lahj to push them back hence that will buy the Houthis time and delay and that is what they wanted becasue they know about the already planned offensive push into Mukha and Hoeidadah.

They can´t hold the giants if they push into these flat areas hence this the diverting tactics is in order to protect Mukha and Hoeidadah or to to buy them some time by keeping the giants busy elsewhere

advance continue on Al jawf

East Al-Hazm.. Yemeni government forces continue to control sites in the Hawshiyan Mountains and advance toward Dahiya and Bir al-Maraziq.. Military sources say new tactics open deeper routes and cut supply lines

The advance on Sanaa continues...
...................................................................................................
Scenes of the Yemeni Armed Forces taking control of the Hawshiyan mountain range in Al-Jawf Governorate, as part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," following clashes with the Houthi militia that resulted in the capture of several of its members and the seizure of weapons and military equipment..

Yemeni military commander: We have taken control of the strategic Hawshiyan mountain range in Al-Jawf Governorate, located to the east of Al-Hazm city (the governorate's center).

These highlands gain utmost importance in the course of the ongoing military confrontations in the region for several main reasons:

1. Strategic and defensive position: The range forms a vital and advanced line of defense, in addition to being commanding highlands overlooking vast vital areas and roads in the vicinity of Al-Hazm city.

2. Geographical gateway: It represents a main gateway leading to several vital areas, including the "Al-Mazariq" area.

3. Severing supply lines: Control over the Hawshiyan mountains enables government forces to cut off and secure the Houthis' supply lines and military movements (such as supply lines toward the Al-Alm front and the vicinity of the governorate center).

4. Securing the eastern axes: Control over it contributes to tightening the grip on the eastern geographical belt leading to the depths of Al-Hazm city and securing the adjacent axes.

Our armed forces continue to carry out their combat missions as part of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," and during the past hours, they conducted (1,119) targeting operations against the leadership, gatherings, movements, reinforcements, positions, sources of fire, and supply means of the terrorist Houthi militia, using warplanes, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers.

These targeting operations, in conjunction with precise field maneuvers, contributed to inflicting losses on the militia's forces, while our units provided support in achieving advances and gaining control over a number of sites and governing bodies in the Al-Jawf fronts.

Meanwhile, combat operations and operational pressure continue in the remaining fronts.

In Taiz, the heroes of the armed forces and the popular resistance continue their confrontations with steadfastness and high combat resolve, directing impactful strikes against the militia's movements and reinforcements, with air and artillery support.

The operations resulted in neutralizing (427) elements of the militia, and destroying or disabling (142) military vehicles, mechanisms, equipment, and transport vehicles. The armed forces continue to perform their missions with determination and capability, while taking the necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian assets.
