As I stated, would like to see more regarding the second F-18 loss. One of the sources I usually frequent is TWZ because frankly, they have a solid track record and many of you are familiar with them. This has been up now for about 3 hours:

This makes sense. The Houthis are trying to reach out and touch someone to the point that the Truman is making the kind of maneuvers normally only done under sea trials.

In spite of claims of Houthi degradation, if they are shooting with this kind of accuracy to force a super carrier to make these kind of turns, the Houthis are getting better with what they have. And, don't be surprised if they are getting targeting assistance as well.

If it was loss due to defensive actions by the A/C while being targetted - then i would logically chalk that down to a Houthi "kill". ( A PAF Ground controller has a kill on their books by being able to convince a IAF pilot there was a Sabre on their tail moving in for the kill ... ).
