Trump’s surprise halt to strikes on Houthis raises eyebrows in Israel and tensions with US Explainer: Washington officials say attacks by Iranian proxy may stop, but Israeli leaders were blindsided by move, which underscores deeper friction between two nations over Iran, hostage deal and Trump's decision to bypass Israel on high-stakes Mideast tour

Conflicting news from the US and the Houthis.

The US has said they have instructed the US military to stop strikes on the Houthis.

Where Senior Houthi official Mahdi al-Mashhat recently said the following:
"We informed the Americans that continued attacks against Yemen will directly and clearly affect the criminal Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia."

"The decision to go to a ceasefire is his alone"

Certainly this is a win for Houthis (A.A.), it's a de facto recognition (and who knows soon de jure recognition) of Houthis (A.A.) (as official yemeni state), as the safety guarantor of red sea, trade passing bab-al-mandab and suez canal.
Add to that that Israel was not part of the deal/agreement and might become more isolated with continued attacks from Houthis (A.A.) which will cause a conflict/rift among the republicans soon, we might be already hearing criticism of and pressure on Trump from certain groups from different background, but closely tied interests.
This deal/talks between Houthis and US shows that houthis are such enough of a power that can make deals with US & WHILE circumventing Israeli interests!

The incidents in recent week might have indirectly put Trump under pressure and that Trump saw this as a face saving way of stopping its fight against the Houthis (A.A.)

In recent week we saw the Houthis by showing that they can almost pinpoint Israeli airport and recently almost hit a US warship, fighting 2 powers at the same time, the US and Israel, although the last can't exist without massive US backing.

That all said, above can be said only in the context of the latest news about this conflict.

Oh yeah,, the u.s wasn't worn down spending billion, firing missiles and just about surviving houthi attacks🤣🤣😃

Lost against the Viet Kong
Lost against the Taliban
Lost against the houthis

Destroying what's left of U.S reputation through Trump, MAGA and supporting and funding a Zionist genocide
These were limited-scale clashes and do not show true capability. The Taliban now have an agreement with the US to prevent Anti-US plots on its soil after loosing so many fighters in war. The Houthi do not want the war with the US to escalate either. The countries getting bombed are most affected in the end. Both Afghanistan and Yemen have a significant humanitarian crisis due to war. The US is a superpower and nothing has changed in this regard. It can attack and ruin any regional power in war from a distance. The US has particularly shown it in Iraq, Libya, and Venezuela.

The US found an opportunity to stress-test and train its naval forces in the Red Sea.

These limited-scale clashes provide a valuable learning experience to test, improve, and develop new weapons. The MIC interests are also served in the process.
