THINK TANK: CONSULTANT
Read this. The Houthi blinked and stopped attacking ships in Red Sea. This was Trump's demand and it is met. The Houthi have become a regional power with noteworthy tactics but not unstoppable. They have had much luck too. The US never had the intent to topple the Houthi and this is why Saudi-led coalition did not work.Considering the fact that US military was forced to sign a peace deal with the Houthis, this comment surely didnt age well. LOOOL
Your analysis is flawed as usual. The US fought two wars with Iraq and won both times. The US liberated Kuwait from Iraq in the war that was fought in 1991 when Iraq was a regional power. The US also reshaped the political landscape of Iraq in the war that was fought in the (2003 - 2011) period. However, post-Saddam Iraq was up against a new threat that was the ISIL movement and Iraq lost several cities to ISIL forces in 2014 which were recovered with support of American forces in recent years and the ongoing COIN operation is expected to conclude in 2026.This is not confirmed as a fact- US military in recent times has increased censorship of its military losses (seems to be following the Israeli method of keeping every military bad news secret as long as possible)- we even read that the US govt isn't releasing names of US soldiers/navy men who died during clashes with Houthis:

USN still isn't performing well today, because it cant win wars and has low stamina- what has it achieved with all its "capabilities"??? little.
US and Iraqi forces kill ISIS chief of global operations, officials say
What is your capacity to fight war in comparison? Iraq exhausted your forces in the war that lasted 8 years during the 1980s. Iranian forces recovered Iranian lands that were overrun by Iraqi forces in 1980 and captured Iraqi Al-Faw Peninsula but could not take Basra let alone advance deeper into Iraq territory. Iraqi forces recovered all Iraqi lands that were overrun by Iranian forces in 1988.
Iran shifted to proxy warfare model to challenge American forces in Iraq but they defeated the Mahdi Army. Iran then created the Axis of Resistance around Israel in an attempt to overwhelm it but Israel destroyed Gaza, defeated Hezbollah, and collaborated with NATO-backed forces to ensure regime change in Syria. The Houthi are standing not due to being unstoppable but due to lack of American interest in toppling them, this is apparent from the fact that the American operation in Yemen was limited to airstrikes on the Houthi forces. The US does not want to address all threats in the Middle East because they want to sell weapons to interested parties, business interests are at the center of foreign policy. If the US solves every problem in the Middle East then who will buy American weapons?
