Z-10 ME/P deliveries Updates: Pakistan Army Aviation.

India is not a factor in US Pakistan relations as much as people think. Atleast not yet. China maybe, but not India, india is irrelevant. They don't consult India before. US Pakistan relations are dependent on Pakistan's geography neighboring Iran and Afghanistan/central Asia and its relationship with China. Not over what India likes or doesn't like, India hasn't really come to prominence in that way. You can see this in the refusal to take the Indian line on Pahalgan, which people condemned, but no country(other than Israel) blamed Pakistan for like India did, or supported its strikes. In many way, the US intervention to get the ceasefire was more in Pakistan's favor as it upset the Indians(or atleast blowhards in Indian media).

You give them too much credit.

I am pretty convinced that especially the Democrats often appease India. Appeasing India comes in many forms. One is by not selling offensive weapons to Pakistan. You are also correct regarding China.

India is nothing more than a sidekick for America...... Americans don't want Pakistan to go all hog in Chinese camp ....it may have a Domino effect in the region.

You are misreading it, The Hindutwa vote(which is anti Pakistan), especially in recent election cycles, like in the UK goes to the Tories, and in the US is starting to go to republicans. Pakistanis and Muslims in general tend to vote Democratic or Labour in the case of the UK. If democrats were "Pro India" in any significant contrast to the republicans, that vote would be going there.

Its not the democrats who have an Anti pakistan policy. Though to be honest Pakistan isn't a relevant wedge issue in US politics, b/c there aren't enough South Asians overall.

Trump is a quirky outlier, don't assume every republican outlook is built that way, Trump's whole thing is built more around personal relationships and people he sees as "strong" or "tough".

Chris Van Hollen for example is a Democrat, and has a soft spot for Pakistan as he was born in Pakistan, and has been receptive to pakistanis and muslims.

Foreign Policy overall isn't really a democrat republican thing, that element is uniparty by default.

exactly, Washington makes significant effort to give just enough to Pakistan to keep out of a full commitment to the China can't where Pakistan takes some sort of anti Washington line.

A subtle detail to focus on, normally after induction of a new platform it takes a while to do firepower demos as initial phase is more about getting familiar with the platform, getting proficient with the flying and employment tactics, but PA directly jumping in to firepower display within the first few days of arrival means the PA pilots had been training on the platform and perfecting their deployment even before the platforms landed in the country and deployed them in active duty as soon as they arrived. If my assumptions are true, then that is a very impressive feat.

Surely the Cobra are running out of airframe lifespan regardless of spare parts availability by now?
Cobra's are only 40 years old and they all got a mid life upgrade sometime around 2010. Wear and tear on a heli is way less than on a fast jet, and PAF is still flying 55 year old Mirages in attack role.
As long as they are air worthy and spares are available, PA will/should keep them flying. they provide flexibility and numbers and they both matter in a ground battle with the enemy as our border for ground war is pretty long.

The US was also appeasing India. The Indians have complained every time the Americans have sold something to Pakistan. Including F-16 upgrade kits.

6 - Has the platform been navalised so that it can operate off ships if required(ie seawater corrosion resistant? Intellectually curiosity, not suggesting any use case! )
It's a very interesting story!

Chinese military fans have been longing for a shipboard version of the Z-10 since the first Chinese Type 075 LHA came into view. ------ For a long time in the past, the Z-10 was our only expectation.

Later, there was news that the Chinese showed up at the Ka-52's factory. Analysts point out that China may buy Ka-52 and bring in technology for localized production as a way to meet Chinese Type 075 LHA demand. But there was no follow up on this news.

For now, we still haven't seen the Z-10 shipboard version emerge. However, the Z-20T and Z-21 have appeared ......

So, the answer to your question is:

There is no ship version of the Z-10, and it will not be released in a ship version.

However, based on what is publicly available, PLA land-based aviation units along the coast have long been tasked with the defense of the near-shore airspace. They use the Z-10 to counter the threat of shipborne helicopters from “hostile countries”. At the same time, we have also seen PLAGF's land and air units conducting landing and takeoff training with their Z-10s on large deck ships.

So, the Z-10 can work properly in oceanic airspace. However, it has not been optimized for shipboard use.
