The Iranian embassy in Beijing has asked members of the Chinese public to stop sending money after a wave of citizens attempted to donate funds following the escalation of the war involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

In a public statement circulated online, the embassy expressed gratitude to people in China who had offered financial support to Iran during the conflict. However, it said the Iranian government currently has no plans to accept donations from individuals or organisations in China.

The statement thanked Chinese citizens for what it described as their “humanitarian spirit” and solidarity with the Iranian people. At the same time, it clarified that the Islamic Republic would not receive financial contributions at this stage of the crisis.

The embassy said that the decision was based on an internal assessment of Iran’s current national situation. It added that if circumstances change in the future and financial assistance becomes necessary, the public would be informed separately.

It's human nature to support the underdogs , in this case Iran...vast majority of Pakistanis support Iran just for this reason.... besides shoving it to the Americans is an added adrenaline rush..... however , the ground realities and facts call for a different approach , Iran is no innocent babe , she's responsible for mayhem and destruction of middle east as much as anyone else if not more...Iran deserves no sympathies... as far as my views about china ! Nothing complicated , a neighbour and a good friend with whom we share geostrategic interests ....I think of China as a wise old sage.

I like Pakistan, and I understand the relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye. I believe Pakistan has the right to choose to be friendly with any country. Pakistan is a free and independent country.

However, Pakistan’s friendly relations with Turkiye do not change how I view Turkiye’s provocative actions on the Uyghur issue.

Likewise, I like Pakistan, but that does not prevent me from supporting Iran in this US-Iran conflict, because I dislike the US.

Friendly relations between countries do not mean that we have to agree with everything they do. Likewise, our views of a particular country should not determine our position on every international conflict.

Ukraine also wants the war to end, the issue for Ukraine is Russia needs to leave all Ukrainian territory, stop any future invasion. Russia demand is they want to annex Crimea, and the Donbass region, also future Ukraine will not join Nato or else war will restart. Currently it looks like Usa wants to end the war but Europe is pushing for war.

Russia won't get everything, of course, but whatever the agreement, Putin wants to declare victory. They should let him have it for domestic reasons.

As for Europe continuing the war, it faces severe limitations, including capacity and financial constraints. Europe still relies on the US for NATO support, so it will have no choice but to follow.

IRANIAN EMBASSY IN THAILAND OPENS ACCOUNT FOR DONATIONS TO REBUILD IRAN AFTER DEADLY AIRSTRIKES

BANGKOK — The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Thailand says it has opened a bank account to receive donations for reconstruction efforts after receiving enquiries from Iranians and supporters worldwide about how they could help rebuild the country following deadly airstrikes....

In a message posted online, the embassy expressed condolences for what it described as the “glorious martyrdom” of Khamenei as well as commanders and soldiers “defending the homeland.”

The appeal follows a major escalation in the conflict after Israel and the United States launched coordinated airstrikes on multiple sites and cities across Iran starting on 28 February 2026. Iranian officials say the attacks killed Khamenei and other senior officials.

The embassy said it had received numerous enquiries from Iranians and supporters worldwide asking how they could help rebuild the country and express solidarity....

“In response to numerous enquiries from patriotic Iranians, zealous Muslims, peace-loving and justice-seeking individuals and groups around the world to help rebuild our country… we hereby declare the bank account listed below,” the statement said....

According to the embassy, donations can be transferred to an account at Bangkok Bank under the name of the Iranian embassy. Donors are asked to include the note “Assistance for rebuilding Iran” with their deposit.

The funds will be used to rebuild educational, medical, relief and sports facilities, as well as other infrastructure damaged during the conflict, the embassy said....
