Karachi News Updates

They know that no credible opposition exists that could / would threaten their rule in Sindh, if and when they are found guilty of misconduct / mismanagement / corruption, of which, that has happened a 1000 times, and they are still ruling comfortably.

The fear of being run over by your opposition, because of your poor performance / governance doesn't exist because the urban educated Sindh minority is always a minority. Such fear only exists where there is democracy and the democratic institutions are strong.

Only division and creation of small new provinces will solve this problem.

Every credible opposition to PPP's unfettered rule in Sindh has been crushed by fauji-establishment.

The roads aren't that bad, even in the most ghettoest hood in the U.S..

Yeah but they aren't as narrow as US roads. A US "main road" sometimes feels like the width of a Pakistani neighbourhood. It's not just Pakistan.

Cities in Asia, Middle East, Africa & Latin America have much more stretched urban planning compared to North America cities.

Even the poorest African countries have divided two way traffic compared to "first world" America/

Pakistani cities have bad roads because of overpopulation. Too many cars vehicles running over them in one day.

The population densities cannot be compared.

No by fauji establishment that decided to bring Bhutto back to life after '88.

By overpopulation. Military & politicians had a role in it, by foolishly fertilising the lands of Punjab, KP & Sindh, giving skyrocketing birthrates.

don't you think there's a divine hand in all this, i think its by Design. ;)

It also means our people getting alot of action hahaha ;)

Karachi was always Pakistan's best city, the city of lights, modernism and the latest and best stuff could always be first appear in Karachi for its locals....like in the 80s and 90s.

Even these days, many say "karachi mei koi bhooka nahi sota" hence everyone flocks to the city as its the economic engine and trade hub due to the port.
Even watching all the vlogs and foodies in Karachi, it appears to be cheaper than other cities of Pak due to the volume and amount of business...would love to visit even if just for the awesome foods it has.
its too bad the city has been neglected by corrupt politicians and ppp. Hopefully we get rid of these soon so the city can progress.

Even watching old comedy pranks of Hanif Raja and now things like P 4 Pakao, you can see the tolerance level of Karachiites in it, mostly locals always so polite no matter what until u really piss them off, lolz.......you would never see such tolerance in places like Lahore or Rawalpindi, in Punjab or KPK, etc

Look at this jiyala saying Karachi is more developed than Lahore:

I agree with you. The main issue I see is the lack of urban planning in the U.S., as I have a friend working in the City of Chicago. They onboard urban planning professionals to create layouts for city expansions, attract public and private investors, utilities, etc., and develop a strategy. Sadly, none of that exists in Pakistan.

Quantity but no quality. It does no good.

Real tolerant, tillk you go for a stroll in the evening carrying a mobile phone....

It used to be until Bhutto came to karachi. PPP has destroyed Karachi and filled it with uneducated sindhi villagers and thieves.

Yes because of all that calorie in take. Destroying natural landscapes and replacing them with farmland is ecolgically destructive. Not to mention it gave us overpopulation.

Yes Karachi is the most "tolerant" city of Pakistan

*MQM PTSD flashbacks*
