ANKARA: Türkiye has rejected allegations in some Indian media outlets claiming links between Ankara and terror attacks in India.

The Indian media outlets quoted investigators as saying the Red Fort blast suspects were in contact with a handler codenamed “Ukasa,” traced to Ankara, Turkey, who coordinated the attack.

“The deliberate reports in certain Indian media outlets claiming that ‘Türkiye is linked to terrorist acts in India and provides logistical, diplomatic, and financial support to terrorist groups’ are part of a malicious disinformation campaign aimed at damaging bilateral relations between the two countries,” said Türkiye’s Centre for Combating Disinformation (DMM) on Turkish social media platform NSosyal on Wednesday.

Reiterating Ankara’s rejection of all terrorism, wherever and by whoever committed, the DMM said Türkiye leads global anti-terror efforts through international cooperation.

In this regard, Ankara “actively” supports the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and plays a key role in shaping NATO’s counter-terrorism policies, it stated. “The claim that Türkiye engages in ‘radicalisation activities’ targeting India or any other country is purely disinformative and lacks any factual basis,” the DMM added.

“Such unfounded and manipulative reports” targeting Türkiye aim to undermine the country’s efforts for global security, stability, and peace, it stated, calling on the public not to give those allegations any credence.

I pray and wish that we give India a massive befitting reposnse this time around. We hopefully liberate parts of Kashmir , parts of India punjab and finally liberate sir creek.

The number seems extremely high

If we take 30k troops it would mean that all of the 3 corps + additional elements of the Indian army were deployed

• X Corps (Bhatinda)
• XI Corps (Jalandhar)
• XII Corps (Jodhpur)

This high number of troop deployment is expensive and hard to maintain. Having a significant impact on spares and resources. With mostly Russian equipment , supply lines stagnating due to the Ukraine war, what was value proposition ? do a show of force demonstration ? I don’t get the military objective here.

These elements would not be able to achieve this type of landing in a conflict with Pakistan near sir creek. With Pakistani formations heavily entrenched, with significant artillery, rocket artillery,air superiority and anti ship capability. The word suicidal comes to mind for such an operation so close to Pakistani coast line.

Was this just a media excercise to help with the bihar election?
