Why did Gen Bajwa remove him from the post? And why did Gen Asim contact Bushra if she had no influence on anything? This is an interesting turn of events. Tell me more please.

From multiple accounts, the then ISI Chief General Asim Munir--like many Pakistanis--knew of the Farah Gogi-Bushra Bibi route for various appointments, corruption etc etc. Not hard to believe how things work in Pakistan. He went to PM Imran with hard evidence but Imran rubbished the allegations and very soon dismissed General Munir from his ISI Chief post. Not hard to believe knowing what we know about Imran's arrogance.
Whether one believes that or not, what's important is that the events of late 2021/22 were all about Pakistan's domestic politics; it was another manifestation of the power play between the civilians and the military. Not much to do with the Americans.

You had declared Mr Khan a criminal and hence I posted the link to the court verdict which exonerated him. You wanted facts ?

The courts in Pakistan are corrupt and subservient to the Establishment. Once in a blue moon a judge shows defiance and decides a case on its merits and the law. Therefore your demand to take all court cases at face value is disingenuous.

This is a judiciary that hanged a Prime Minister and later admitted it was judicial murder.

All this verdict shows is the lawfare which Mr Khan was subjected to.

Or Nawaz Sharif v Raheel Sharif, even though Raheel Sharif was a top patriotic general. Nawaz wanted a piece of Mushraff which Raheel Sharif opposed, this then led to many others issues, Dawn leaks, Geo attack on Raheel Sharif, refusal to support military operations etc. Asim Munir fixed everything, now any new government or PM will be toothless. People can hate Rana Sanullah but he mentioned this a few times, he said IK is taking us to a place of no return, this will lead to chaos, later on he mentioned either Imran Khan will survive or Us. All this lead to the military intervention and now Asim Munir is making sure the future PMs and governments are toothless in terms of challenging military led decisions. Pdm is also trapped, they have no choice but to give away power in order to stay relevant or else everyone will be finished.

Even in the Usa or UK which everyone considers as role model stable nations have politicians sitting on the elite and establishment laps. But these countries are advanced stage so we don't even find out what is happening behind the scenes, their politicians come and go after 5 years, they have no real power making decisions. In the UK brexit led to chaos and the Queen had to intervene, she came to the parliament and confirmed UK will leave Europe, she could have announced a revote etc but announced the decision. All the MPs, and even PM were standing in front of her. She showed the MPs and MP that the Queen is the state, she is the establishment and the boss.

If this was Pakistan we be screaming our heads off, how dare an unelected person order the MPs or PM, making propaganda etc.

Yeah UK does it with grace lol. Their constitutional monarchy poses the Crown only as an advisor to the PM but that is just a sanitized legal word for the Crown's influence on the PM.

He neither lied nor violated the OSA. The cipher and its contents have been called genuine by the government and Mr Khan was exonerated by the court on whatever bogus charges were filed regarding OSA.

Both cannot be correct.

They can be correct and have been validated as such. Mr Khan spoke about the contents of the cipher and what it meant for him politically. He was punished for this by filing a bogus charge, which the court exonerated him over.

He faces many other bogus charges also, since lawfare is part of the Establishment methods.

Another Prime Minister was convicted as a hijacker, but then exonerated and become PM again.
