Lebanon-Israel War | 2023-present

Nobody is capable of what Hamas did. Absolutely nobody. Hamas checkmated the entire Western military and intelligence community. The BS that Israel was focused on Iran and Hezbollah is BS. They were surveiling Gaza 24/7, more than anywhere else in the world, with more resources, and the Western intelligence and military community were constantly trying to penetrate Hamas's military wing.
Nobody has the political military leadership Hamas has. Nobody has those kind of men like the Al Qassam Brigades men that believe in their fight and are ideologically driven.

Nobody. Nobody can replicate anything close to Toofan Al Aqsa. This is the reality.

That's why the dirty Western and Jewish world went scorched earth on Gaza trying to systemically annihilate the civilian population. They're so arrogant and narcassistic they couldn't believe a small group of ideologically driven fighters pulled that off.

And nobody is able to replicate that ideology. Hamas is following and observing essentially the real orthodox Islam which is why it's the only force in modern anti-religion times that stood up for Islam in a significant way.

The Muslims need to learn from Hamas. Not other way around.

Imagine what Hamas could do with Egypt. Or Lebanon. Or Syria. Or Jordan.

We wouldn't worry about instability in the Middle East or Israel if Hamas possessed those nations. That's the truth.

The Al Qassam Brigades are something unique and special.
nice rant but this thread is about Lebanon by the way

For Hezbollah, responding will lead to a wave of devastating raids, similar to Gaza, with thousands of displaced Shia. Not responding will increase Israel's appetite for daily assassinations in Beirut and elsewhere.

Lebanese government will not do anything about strikes in its capital city under a ceasefire it agreed with Israel

if Hezbollah responds, Israel will be very happy to turn south Beirut and other cities into this post apocalyptic waste land like Gaza.

nonetheless, the cost of daily assassinations and bombings of key leaders is not sustainable, something must be done.

It’s what the Israelis want they want to them to respond perhaps kill a few a few of their soldiers so they can make Lebanon into Gaza and keep Bibi out of jail and his coalition afloat but yeah i think after this sooner than later

correction: that man in the photo is not the chief of staff who was targeted today

the man targeted has Iranian origins and no one knows what he looks like. the US only shared a sketch of his face many years ago and Israel didn't publish a photo.

update: Hezbollah just shared his identity, for the first time.

This is the first photo ever released of the martyr. Before this no one knew what he looked like, he lived his life in the shadows.

Biography of the Martyred Leader Haitham Ali Al-Tabtabaei (Abu Ali)

Born in the neighbourhood of Bashoura on November 5, 1968, Martyr Tabtabaei grew to be among the first to join the ranks of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon. He immersed himself in military & leadership training. He became one of the men entrusted with operations of the highest sensitivity & complexity. Before the liberation of 2000, he was present on the front lines with discipline & silence. in the battles of 1993 and 1996, he was a field commander. From 1996 until the liberation, he assumed responsibility over one of the critical operational axes. His contribution in shaping & enforcing the withdrawal of the “Israeli” Enemy from Lebanon became part of the unseen architecture of victory.

After the liberation, his role expanded and he continued to lead until 2008, commanding the heroic confrontations in Ghandooriyyeh during the July 2006 aggression. When Hajj Imad Mughniyeh was martyred, he carried part of the burden left behind, and helped to establish and develop the Radwan Force.

He was among the key architects of the campaigns against the takfiri groups on Lebanon’s eastern front. His influence extended across all fronts of the Resistance Axis & he accompanied operations in multiple arenas. During the Al Aqsa Flood, he held responsibility over the General Operations Unit & guided the coordination of the Islamic Resistance’s response.

in the battles of early September 2024, he was again among the senior commanders directing & leading operations, before he assumed overall military leadership within the Islamic Resistance in the aftermath.

This man lived without noise & carried responsibilities that few knew and even fewer could bear. On November 23, 2025, in Dahye, he ascended as a Martyr & gave his life alongside a group of his brothers in arms, in a treacherous “Israeli” assassination.he leaves behind no public titles, no search for personal glory.

He leaves behind the continuity of the Resistance, and that is all the glory of the world.

Hezbollah leaders are always caught inside Beirut - a city that is littered with spies. With Hezbollah's expertise in tunnel building, not sure why they did not choose tunnels/hideouts outside Beirut.

In the recent 12-day war between "Israel" and Iran, the SL and other leaders were all saved by the tunnel complexes inside Iran. Even Netanyahu and his military chiefs all hid under tunnels. Hezbollah seems to be struggling with spies in its midst that pinpoint their leaders once they come to Beirut.

during the war, Israel bombed a meeting of Iran's SNSC in an underground bunker in north Tehran. they used a small fraction of the explosives they could use in neighbouring Lebanon.

even then, the SNSC only survived by luck, escaping through a back up exit tunnel network.

even if these guys have tunnels in the Bekka, they can be bombed. Sinwar's brother was hiding in a tunnel under a hospital in Gaza. it didn't help him.

someone took a photo of the martyred leader's body after the bombing, and publicised it. may they be identified and brought to justice.
