RAFALE killer is coming

Türkiye's first unmanned stealth Fighter Jet KIZILELMA has completed another historic test in the sky.

Two Turkish F-16s participated in the test. KIZILELMA locked onto the F-16 with its national AESA Radar MURAD-100A and scored a direct hit in a simulated firing test with its national air-to-air missile GOKDOGAN

KIZILELMA will detect enemy F-16V and RAFALE Jets from 120+ km away while They will able to detect the KIZILELMA from 62-67 km away and GAME OVER !

RAFALE Pilots will take Turkish missiles on their heads before they see the KIZILELMA on their Radars

Three different and challenging test scenarios were successfully executed simultaneously during the flight

1 --
The F-16 formation flight, demonstrating joint operational capabilities with manned Fighter Jet for the future of air combat concepts

2 -- The Platform's aerodynamic and avionic compatibility was confirmed with the GOKDOGAN BVR Air-to-Air Missile carried under the wing

3 -- The detection, tracking, lock-on, and data transmission capabilities of the national MURAD-100a AESA Radar, also deployed during the same flight, were proven under challenging conditions.

@MMM-E ;

I liked this post of yours. (This is rare!)

- If you focus only on sharing information,
- Avoid making bold claims like "We were the first in the world" or "We're the best in the world" unless you have solid evidence or an official statement to back them up,
-If you use less bold font (or none at all) in your writing,
-If you skip adding videos or images to every post, because that makes others look foolish and makes you look like a salesman,
- Most importantly, avoid insulting other people and other nations, as doing so could result in a permanent ban,

I'll continue to like your posts.

So my meme replying to this is deleted,
but his 5 year-old comments remain? 🥴

In fact, under certain conditions, @MMM-E is correct. These aren’t the statements of a 5-year-old boy.

If 4th-generation or 4.5th-generation aircraft (like the Rafale or F-16V70) engage Kızılelma without real-time data from an extensive sensor network and rely only on their own sensors, they’ll be at a big disadvantage. Calculations show they couldn’t detect Kızılelma from more than 65 km away.

I think @MMM-E’s only mistake is overlooking the limitations of his own argument.

And Game Over?

If Kizilelma have turned on the radar by default It is not invisible. It would be easily detected and in such circumstances the winner fighter It is the one with longer range missiles.

Most modern missiles have "home on jam" mode that can track and follow the emitter.

But having Kizilelma an EOTS and IR missiles, is should be able to work completely passive and shoot down that Rafale. Kizilelma is stealth and much smaller than s conventional fighter. It should be able to get closer unadvertently.

Things have bed very quiet on the T929 front for the last few months after the initial mockup was shown. Is there a timeline for the next phase ?
IIRC the project is still alive but has been put on the back burner.

Its been shelved till the T925 matter is settled. It wasn't an immediate priority, and there are other priorities currently, so its been delayed to after 2028.

They haven't publically announced the reason as to why, but I believe its a powerplant issue, if you remember the old T925 was supposed to be a 12K helicopter with a ramp on the back, but this was cut back to something more akin to the blackhawk.

The original idea called for a Ukrainian VK-2500 powerplant, but I suspect the redesign is over the lack of availability/uncertainty of that powerplant due to the war. Which means either powering it with a GE T700 or a Turkish domestic powerplant.

i think its more likely we see the T629 with the Gokbey powerplant before we see a T929.

TAI has prioritized the T-925 Utility Helicopter and the T-929 Attack Helicopter will continue to be developed later. The first goal is to develop the T-925 Helicopter and meet urgent needs, including a firefighting Helicopter variant.

Türkiye will have three scenarios

1 -- MURAD-100A AESA Radar
KIZILELMA with MURAD-100A AESA Radar to detect the RAFALE from 120+ km away
while the RAFALE to detect the KIZILELMA from 60+ km away

Note :
currently , KIZILELMA is flying with MURAD-100A AESA Radar and 100+ km GOKDOGAN air to air Missile

------------------------------

2 -- Boeing E-7T AEWC
TURAF has 4 Boeing E-7T AEWC with 600 km AESA Radar to detect the RAFALE from 350 km away

KIZILELMA to turn off its own AESA Radar and E-7T AEWC can guide 185+ km GOKBORA air to air Missiles which will be fired from KIZILEMA to hit RAFALE

Note :
185+ km GOKBORA air to air Missile will be ready in a few years
100+ km GOKDOGAN air to air Missile also can be used against RAFALE

----------------------------

3 -- KAAN with MURAD-600A AESA Radar

KAAN will control KIZILELMA for MUM-T concept

KIZILELMA to turn off its own AESA Radar
and KAAN to detect the RAFALE from 175+ km away and to guide 185+ km GOKBORA air to air Missiles which will be fired from KIZILEMA to hit RAFALE

Note :
Achieving this capacity is the final result and will take at least 7 years.
