SMASH SLBM Testing - Nov 2025

Was referring to the number of baraks in IN. Yes the number of brahmos in IN is frankly terrifying the number of proper AD is kinda laughable in comparison. 32 baraks for however potent they may be can be easily saturated by drones and CMs leaving even fewer so chances of them then being able to take on a decent number of SMASH go down with them. The us struggled to fight houthis with many more and much more potent missiles. With some proper planning you can very easily force the IN to turn back long before they get into a brahmos firing solution by simply depleting their AD capabilities such that they have to return home. PN has many of the same shortcomings in this regard but we will have better air and shore based AD cover.
we suffer from this issue but orders of magnitude worse.

054a's arent equipped for modern swarm attacks

babur carry 12 missiles, so

Are you sure about that? The missile in that video is flying a nap of the earth flight profile at high speed, similar to what a land launched brahmos would do. The CM400AKG doesn't fly like that, it would follow a ballistic trajectory.
Don't know about vector shown in video but that's not a Brahmos for sure

Bother yourself and google it. I wonder why you react like a kid.

Naming a marketed military hardware has a meaning.

CM = cruise missile
BM = ballistic missile

Pardon my friend, but the only one who is acting like a stupid child and even does not notice it, is you!

1. Wiki is not a source and even more so not on Chinese military stuff ... but if you are already on to it and accept it as a development of the SY-400, which is a ballistic missile, how could then the air-launched variant be a cruise missile?

2. CM IMO does not stand for cruise missile but anyway for whatever in fact it doesn't matter! If you don't believe me, then ask others or listen to what others here already posted!

So, don't be stubborn and better check the facts.

How do you know it's not?
Bcz this video is from indian side, and shared by Pakistan's sources, so it could be CM-400 AKG. The trajectory u see is could be re-entry phase. Also ALBM does not go as the same altitude as GLBM's.

I brought you a solid evidence and you read it. Glad to save you from ignorance. Have a nice day

No, the re-entry trajectory of a ballistic missiles would be similar to what you see for F2 or SMASH, not nap of the earth flight profile like you see in the video. If the video is from india then it's probably brahmos in it's cruise stage supersonic flight.

Or it could be a Indian SAM? CM400 wouldn't be powered during its terminal phase nor would it be flying that trajectory. This discussion isn't relevant to the thread anyways.

If you take Google and wiki as the gospel truth, then that's you're prerogative, but I'd suggest you look a little more into it.
Of course i won't trust the whole world and instead i will take a nobody forum-er's words for it such as you.

Chinese military industrial complex and their marketers are amateurs and liars for naming a marketed cruise missile as CM-400AKG. They should've named it BM-400AKG. Lol, dude get a life and try to learn. Stop embarrassing yourself and wasting my time.

And you're an expert on Chinese weapon naming convention are you? This coming from someone who believes the houtis shot down a US navy F18 using an anti ship ballistic missiles! Lol What a clown.

CM400AKG nota ballestic missile neither fallow ballestic trjectory.
It's quasi ballistic, and it's definitely not a cruise missile that flies nap of the earth, which is what you see in the video.
