Can I answer this without sounding partisan?
We are in this situation because of lack of awareness, which is an off shoot of lack of schooling and perhaps experience. Where does this lack come from? It comes from people being thrust into positions of power without merit to do the job.
God bless, the professional bureaucrats, the professional government worker who knows how to run a water co, or how to run a central bank, or an army........you know, the kind that went to college and have masters degree or doctorate in Management, in finance, or defence.............just like the people who run every fuking successful country in the world.

Rumor has it (twitter) that WS-10B turbofan has been tested for conditions in Iran. IRIAF favored J-10CE as joint fighter of SU-35S as it seems. No confirmation.

There is virtually no air defence on earth that can stop lofted ALBMs with separating RVs coming down at hypersonic speeds. There are modern sneaky AL-SOWs as well. All FABs at western side of Iran are very close to the border. In case of war this entire new procurement will be bombed on ground.

Yes all these planes will be destroyed like the SAMs were.
Iranian military doctrine is permanently 50 years behind. They fought against Iraq like it was ww1 and modern exercises look like something out of the cold war. Even if IRIAF got 6th gens from China they would be useless because they don't understand modern warfare or the modern battlefield.

ideally OTH radars will detect such movements and jets can take off before bombs can land

but given Israel can launch ALBMs from safe distance and they only need 10 mins to land, this is difficult

An interesting phenomenon:
Chinese official agencies recently released trade data for November 2025. This includes data on oil imports from Iran.
The specific data is not important; please look it up yourself.

What is important is that the Chinese government has begun to publicly release this data. Previously, when official agencies released related data, the data on oil imports from Iran was always listed as "0" (meaning it was not disclosed, not that the actual data was "0").

Based on the analysis of these circumstances, in an optimistic scenario, the possibility of advanced Chinese fighter jets entering service in Iran is increasing.

Iranian GDP PPP was highest in entire MENA, GDP growth rate climbed to record breaking 10% between 1966 to 1977, it was higher than even South Korea at that time. Iran had worlds 5th largest military, 4th largest Air force IIAF that later on saved Iranians from annihilation at the hands of Baathist war machine fueled by USSR, EU and PGCC. Iranians were free to be muslims, athiests, agnosts, jews, christians, sunnis whatever, practice their culture, speak their language. USSR kept on supporting leftists student organizations that started the revolt against Shah and later on West Parachuted Mullahs in to save country from a red revolution, remember Khomeini came from where and on whose plane. Withinin 5 years he was bargaining for weaponry from US and planning joint operations with Israel. Iranians who revolted against Shah did not see that coming.

Iranian nation has a self destructive tendency. IIAF transitioned IRIAF, the force proved to be the star performer of the war, created 4th generation Ace of Aces but early mullahs saw the force as Shahi legacy so they destroyed it with budget cuts. Ideologically aligned incompetent commanders were brought in instead of on basis of merit to keep the force in check. Now IRGCASF is to IRI what IIAF/IRIAF was to Shah. Its a large, massively funded, technologically superior force. Now they are battle hardened as well against superpower led alliance. I am afraid that post IRI system will dismantle/weaken IRGC, and IRGCASF will become the biggest victim of the political dogshit that is about to happen in Iran post Khamenei. Iranians will once again destroy their biggest weapon to get back at eachother.

Yes, unless they create tactically placed extra hardened bunkers or underground bases, I dont see how are they going to hide these aircrafts. Modern day ALBMs/SOWs cant just be stopped by any Airdefence no matter how much layered, few will always go through. Hardened bunkers themselves have a limit to which they can sustain bombing. Only solution seems underground bases with well gaurded entrances/exists and an efficient crew that can repair any damage in a quick manner.

IRGCASF would be tasked I guess for reciporcating strikes on Israeli ABs to go after IAF assets on ground. Use K-4's submunitioned PBV. No airforce can sustain a decently elongated war with modern attack weaponry because Airdefence tech has legged behind the attack missile tech.

After the 12 day war, Israel declared that it had destroyed 15 aircraft. We know that at least some of this number is made up of Mockup Decoys. How was the IRIAF able to protect its 150-200 fighter fleet from Israeli attacks?

Actually, a rumour like this is "growing and growing" not due to a factual basis, but because it is constantly being revived by unreliable sources, fanboys, and sites that profit from it. It's exactly the same with this stupid claim, Pakistan would soon get J-35A, Egypt would already operate and soon get a licence for the J-10CE production.
