PAF Conducts Successful Test Launch of Taimoor ALCM

Yep, mirages will be phased out by 2030 even now they are not that numerous for a sustained volley rate
Perhaps they will make a JF-17 block 4 after all.

no shit its a missile
usually you will see them hitting the ground or airbound before reaching the target withing a few meters. Look at pretty much any other missile testing clip. I'm not sure whether its the angle or what not, but i couldn't see anything hitting the ground before it started digging dirt.

Edit: towards, the end you see it, but cant see it before it hits the ground

also this is not the thread to discuss this , pls go to paf thread

nobody can find

😭 😭 lmao tumhe merge na krde

this is just a test man , i am sure they will integrate them later when the CM is developed and in production
This developed missile, Raad has been in service for quite some this was just show India we have conventional version of Raad that's gonna hit, this is quite well in production missile

its range in 290 km not 600 that is raad2
PAF itself quoted 600km
03 January, 2026: Pakistan Air Force has successfully conducted the flight test of the indigenously developed Taimoor Weapon System, marking another significant milestone in the advancement of national aerospace and defence capabilities. Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile is capable of engaging enemy land and sea targets with high precision at a range of 600 kilometers, carrying a conventional warhead. Equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and guidance system, Taimoor is designed to fly at very low altitudes, enabling it to effectively evade hostile air and missile defence systems. Its precision-strike capability significantly enhances the conventional deterrence and operational flexibility of Pakistan Air Force, further strengthening the country’s overall defence posture. The successful flight test underscores the technical maturity, innovation and self-reliance achieved by Pakistan’s defence industry. The launch was witnessed by senior officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces, along with distinguished scientists and engineers who played a pivotal role in the development of this advanced weapon system.

why ,how did you make that assumption . ofc it will eventually be integrated with jf17
Ground clearance brother it's been discussed before, it's not about source code or anything we can integrate whatever we want on Jeff's
Only block 3s have better ground clearance.
Though @side-winder can shed more light on this matter

pretty dumb to make a ALCM that your future jets cant carry , raad 2 was tested on mirages too before being integrated . you are making assumption out of nothing
I could be wrong but this was discussed quite well in the old PDF
@JamD need your analysis both on the missiles and ground clearance of the jeff.
Actually taimoor is Raad 2 with a new seeker
