Nothing changes! In the middle of nowhere without any protection The crew is walking around without weapons, they don't even have a pistol! There is no sign of a manpad, machine gun, anti-drone device, etc. You still have a lot to learn from the Russians! A helicopter commando would make it all smaller or a guerrilla team, it's terrible, so you haven't learned anything. Even if it's practice, you have to pay attention!

To avoid this, Iran must learn from Yemen's approach and fundamentally transform its state and military structures.

No brother, the generals were bought off by the CIA. they would never have attempted that raid if it wasn't completely safe.
 
I completely agree. Unfortunately, the Iranian secret service is weak again, and a major change is needed there too!
 
It’s been months since the war, no new air defence systems acquired by Iran. Looks like no lesson learned?

Do you think an air defense system is an AK-47? That you press a button and it’s made in 1 hour?

Building long range air defense systems takes time and integrating it takes even longer.

Even in Ukraine it took many months and other countries had to donate their own used systems. So unless China or Russia wants to donate used systems to Iran, it’s not happening. To build New systems from scratch, like S-400 take at least a couple years to be built.

its better iran makes it own systems and improve it..but new fighter jet is essential.

Using disposable drones is one way to map electronic activity and locate your radars. The other methods are they can use large ew planes like Poseidon from longer ranges. Another medium range option is they can stack 3 growlers to triangulate the precise radar positions to attack them. Using drones is more expensive then the other passive options but it is still a possibility.

Changing radar locations hourly or less would be a better anti-mapping solution. Even several 100 meter relocation would make a difference. Radar needs to close when changing its location. Closing the radar would create an opening in that area so another second vehicle waiting at a safe distance nearby should open and start scanning while the first vehicle is moving to its new place. First vehicle can wait at this new place as a substitute while the second vehicle continues scanning. This can repeat as a loop continiously

Yes
India used Israeli harop drones to do precisely that. The drone would transmit data back to the operators.

Thankfully, Pakistanis are smart and acted appropriately...
 
OTH Radars are not enough. Can't Iran develop its own AWACS and AESA radar?
