Are we now in a position to build our own AWACS radars?

Not too far off IMHO. The Pakistani AWACS should have the native and high speed ability to talk to both Western and Chinese jets.

It would be VERY interesting to see the PAF build a domestic AEW on the S2K platform, then in parallel start work on modification of another. I was reading about the repair post destruction, pretty mad how much we had to learn and how much we did on them. Now thats the kind of PAC i want in the other areas too!

Since it is the same situation like last year when the same guys and sources claimed "until August, until late 2025 we will get them" and NOTHING changed since then!

I think picking up some random tweet and then calling it Pakistani claims is completely incorrect. Some idiots tweeting nonsense doesn’t represent serious posters here…

As Michael mentioned eventually Pakistanis will buy J35 but considering no new threat perception from India and Pakistanis feeling comfortable enough to handle Rafael there is no rush at all to induct any new aircraft type.

Infact working on tactics and equipment already in hand and fine tuning even more with what worked and what didn’t is way more important .

But again I have been around long enough to remember your claims about J10 and how they were not coming until one day pictures in China showed up out of blue with Pakistani flags on brand new J10s….

1. Yes, there are many Pakistani posts claiming this including some even postinng this:



And all they want to suggerate, they come soon ... the problem simply is: Nothing ahs changes, no news appeared since the last round of rumours spread in similar fashin by most likely the same accounts all based on NOTHING!

In the end, name me one credible recent post or source stating that Pakistan will get them in early/mid 2026 which is based on new information!


2. I don't want to swear but I'm almost sure I never claimed Paksitan will never get them. I only and always denied - almost like here again - such exaggerated claims, Pakistan might get them "soon" or is already operating them, Pakistan will get a production line and so on ... but if you find a post in which I claimed strictly Pakistan will never get them, I would be happy to see it and apologise.

You will do well if you get rid of your pessimistic and contrarian frame of mind....no one claimed Pakistan will get J 35 in 2025.... the most optimistic claim was the end of 2026..... there's is a high probability that this claim is authentic.
