Let me understand you correctly. Correct me if I am wrong - you are stating that a few European countries banning the hijab, and Afghanistan banning women from being educated and making a living are equivalent?

What do you think makes a woman's life more miserable? The inability to wear a hijab, or the inability to read and write? The inability to wear a hijab, or the inability to make a living?

Hijabless women in Europe can still go to school, then to college, and become administrators and teachers and lawyers and doctors and scientists and politicians and....you name it.

Women in Afghanistan can make nothing of their lives, and are at the mercy of their husbands.

You think the situations are equivalent?

KABUL (Pajhwok): United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed has expressed serious concern about the state of women’s human rights in Afghanistan—an issue consistently rejected by officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), who maintain that Afghan women enjoy their rights under Islamic Sharia.

In a post on her X account, Mohammed said that millions of women and girls in Afghanistan are facing severe restrictions on their fundamental rights, including access to education, employment, personal security and freedom of movement.

She warned that the international community must not turn a blind eye to these violations, underscoring that women’s rights are human rights everywhere.

IEA officials, however, have repeatedly insisted that women’s rights in Afghanistan are safeguarded within the framework of Islamic law and that women live with dignity and honour.

They point to a six-point decree issued by the IEA’s supreme leader, which they say guarantees women’s Islamic rights and obliges officials, tribal elders, religious scholars and community leaders to protect and enforce them.

The authorities have also reiterated that girls’ education will be permitted once what they describe as a suitable and Islamic environment has been established.

Well their reason is to control women because they fear education will change values and mind of women and hence they will lose control over women.
Though I agree these days the educated women suck at running a family successfully. Perhaps a generational thing.They are throwing divorce parties ,fake weddings and want their right from the rights of men. They don't want kids yet the stupid fucks seek independence lol. A woman needs a man period and specially at old age more than ever.

Brother, with respect have you ever been to Afghanistan? Afghan women even during ISAF/NATO presence were heavily marginalized. I am no bleeding heart for Afghanistan, but "controlling women"...

I agree with that, their comes a point of no return, where the society becomes so fcuked up and womens minds become so deluded that you can't fix them without some sort of Taliban revolution and 50 years of rule



In most countries it starts with the elite with money, they have the money to buy luxury, have parties, do degenerate things

There is still hope for Pakistan. But at most a 10-year window. After that it is all over as you put it. You need to do at least the following:

#Gender segregated healthcare and education. It failed badly in AFG as there are not enough female doctors, paramedics and teachers to minister to the girls/women. PAK mercifully has enough ladies in the aforementioned professions to ensure that women's healthcare and education needs can be worked out.
#Enforcement of some amount of propriety in dress code for both men and women
#Strict censorship for print, visual and electronic/social media.
#Compulsory religious, moral and spiritual education for both sexes.

Bro Pakistan is also going the kanjroon way in big cities. Heck even in the smaller cities and villages. Because of high internet penetration all over the country and cheap advanced Chinese smart phones. Though that's the good thing but it's also making women behave weirdly. And changing mindset of youth.
