Lang then said he’s Jewish, apparently responding to a question about whether he was booted from the conference for antisemitism.

“I am Jewish. My sister served in the IDF. I believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior—but I am a Jew. I love Israel,” he said.

This had me rolling after that Jesus Christ line. The same people who decided to hang him now believe him to be "lord and savior." They change their opinions as often as a gas station toilet seat gets used daily.

So they want the opposition to hang them in public squares like Benito and Romanian commie tsar? That will be their outcome if they give sleepy conservatives and MAGA no option but to fight.

Maybe this whole cht is planned by him who shall not be named 👿 to get us to hate and fight each other and force the Orange man to really crack down maybe even declare martial law so that when the 👿 son takes over after Orange man is not in power he will have absolute power in this country.

There was bipartisanship consensus, at least in the past, that we should never have a national government ID. The right (especially those that called themselves libertarian) was the most vehemently opposed, but with time, they are now embrace the “papers please” mantra. First, claiming to prevent fraudulent elections, but now with ICE demanding to know the citizenship status of anyone they come across on the street.

This is repugnant to constitution and the liberties we hold dear. These transgressions are an anathema to the bill of rights, specifically the 4th and 5th amendments.

Bipartisanship failed as one side, seeing they were losing the culture war, embraced ideologies that were once beyond the pale and seen as UnAmerican by generations prior.

ICE, in its excesses, is the most visible domestic overreach of Trump’s agenda. 15% of republicans want to abolish ICE, therefore bipartisanship will come if democrats can find a way to sway over republicans to their cause without abandoning their base.

Don't get me wrong, there are specific policies that when both parties' interests align, and there can be bi-partisanship, but overall, it won't be, because there is just too much to lose for one of the parties if they give in, case in point, the November shutdown was ended because of the Dem leadership failure to move on even tho they have the upperhand.

The problem is, this is extremely dangerous, because unlike countries such as the UK, or where I currently live, Australia, the US is not built for a winner-take-all style government , and that is the opening into the dictatorship, because if a single party control all 3 office, they get to do whatever they want to do, because the party in control will not reign in any other side of the equation, which is what our government structure supposed to be.

That's where the radicalisation of politics comes in, Trump done one thing and one thing VERY successfully, and that is weaponise his political ideology; he and his followers don't see people with opposite ideologies as opponents, but enemies. That's very dangerous because frankly, that's how a dictator sees people who oppose him. And the dem didn't do anyone a favor by replicating this, hence MAGA sees Progressive as "terrorist," and Progressive sees MAGA as "Fascist, beucase for a dictator to exist, there cannot be internal opposition, everyone opposing the regime is an enemy, hence must be eliminated, that's how almost all Chinese hated American, regardless of how they politically align (There are leftist American) but we hate ourselve, because we believe in different ideology. And we are heading toward this road, just the difference is, who are going to be the dictator in this game, I don't know, I know it's not going to be Trump.

The voting ID law and the National ID is simply just using result to justify policy, because we need to clam down on illegal, hence from now on, every non-white must start carrying ID (Which you don't need to as per 4/5A) problem is what people can't see is because it was doing to our political opponent, so, that's fair and dandy, but when the situation turn, AND IT WILL TURN, the same law will be used against you, that you have no one to blame but yourself. It should be the other way around, the Policy itself have to justify the result, because if the Policy don't fit, you don't get the result, and the result is what you want, you go change the Policy,

This is the dynamics of US politics. I was like you; I believed in Bipartisanship after I got out of college with a PoliSci degree, but I have completely lost trust in the system when I left the US for good in 2011/2012.

EDITORIAL: Let us make no mistake. Donald Trump has not received the Nobel Peace Prize. He has simply acquired the medal. This is akin to holding a friend’s Oscar during a selfie and then captioning it ‘great night’.

The distinction, however, has never really troubled the American president, who had campaigned for the honour for years. He had listed his achievements numerous times, compared himself favourably to past winners and expressed bafflement that the committee kept missing the point — him. That pursuit was not subtle.

President Trump spoke of the Nobel as something he had earned but been unfairly denied, a prize that history had misplaced. The grievance lingered, resurfacing whenever foreign policy or legacy came up.

When it comes to homelessness, JFK is no worse than ATL, EWR, ORD, or SFO. ORD in my opinion makes JFK look minor league:

We've been hearing this since the claims that W stole the 2000 election from Al Gore.
