Was not really very smart from our end.
Drone saturation caused our big guns (HQ9 & co) go dormant.
Next sudden combined missile assault left PAF bases in utter dubris.

Our only plus point in 4-day conflict was shooting down Indian Fighters deep inside IAF's own territory.

Fake news. It's not a question of suppressing Venezuelan air defenses;150 planes+20 war helicopters (even with stealth), crossing all of Venezuela, thousands of people would see it with their own eyes and Maduro would run away. Maduro was handed over (to the US) by the Venezuelan military.

Strong evidence of this is that Maduro was already negotiating his departure for Belarus months before he was kidnapped.

In the case of the 12-day war, it was also local spies in Iran who disabled the defense system; they also plant bombs in bunkers (and then say the bunker exploded in a bombing, but it's a lie). Since Iran has eliminated a large portion of CIA and Mossad spies in the country, including arresting businessmen and politicians, an invasion of Iran is now difficult. The only remaining option is a "victory narrative" action, such as the assassination of an Ayatollah, etc.
 
TELARed HIMADs (Khordad) and more and more EO-IIR-ARH SHORADS (Majid etc) are the way to go but remember entire planet has no answer to hypersonic BMs, ALBMs, supersonic CMs etc. Last 1-2 years have seen massive use of following missile types in conflicts:

Khinzal ALBM
Fattah Hypersonic missile
Kheybar Shikan 1/2 Skip Glide Missile
Golden Horizon ALBM
P-800 Oniks/Brahmosc

How many were shot down? less than 10 % Khinzals, 4% P-800, 0 % Fattah and Khyebar Shikans, Golden Horizons. We need more underground bases and devastating reciprocating capacity for deterence. IRGCASF showed it last time to some fair extent through Tit-for-Tat strikes (Bazan, Eshkol, Soroka, Weizmann). That needs to improve because we are otherwise gonna lose the entire incoming SUKHOI, YAK, MIG fleet on ground.

it was a prototype anyway, other OTH radars have been repaired

not that they performed any useful function in the last round

If wars in last 2-3 years have taught us anything, entire world is learning the uselessness of such large butt naked ground assets against modern SOWs and ALBMs. With BVR ranges increasing every day, I wont be surprised if AWACS start to fall off skies in near future as well. I am rather more concerned about the incoming and rather large SU-35S fleet. If IRI survives the incoming tussle with US+Israel, the defence doctrine needs to be overhauled not just modified. There is just no option other than strengthening the reciprocating IRGCASF 2nd strike option so enemy fears attacking at first place. Hypersonic BMs, ALBMs, Stealth or terrain hugging SOWs, Supersonic LACMs, kamikaze drones, internal terrorism, no matter how dense the air defence you create IADS will eventually deplete, the soft bunkers, HQs, airfields, airbases will eventually be destroyed in an elongated war. Underground bases themselves are a long term and expensive thing. Nuclear threat, dozens and dozens of underground IRGCASF bases, thousands of monorail TELs, mass produced Fattah-I, KS-1/2, Paveh LACMs, Shahed-238, Karrar, Sejjil-II, K-4 PBV they are the offensive defence that will scare enemy off. OTHs wont.
 
IRI IADs should add a passive layer comprised of IR sensors and passive radars to set off their TELARs and other assets to "ambush" fighters and OWA drones.

Anyway I want to ask something. Why not to develop an ASAT SAM system?. Obviously IRI cannot compete with S500 system. But LEO constellations of satellites like Starlink can be easily destroyed with just destroying four or five of them. Debries in orbit would knock off most of them and nullify most of the communications between intelligence agencies and terrorists inside the country.

It would be a first step toward higher objectives, the secret Pentagon AEW net of satellites.
 
As for the experience, we will experience it soon. In any case, the submarine fleet should be ordered near the aircraft carriers, and not leave everything to the air force and air defense. If war breaks out with the US, then it is not Israel that should be attacked, but American ships and bases, preferably not the empty ones.

Each carrier group has at least one nuclear submarine following them.

Iranian submarines cannot compete against those that can dive deeper and more silent and stealthy. They would be annihilated.
