Bangladesh will not play T20 World Cup games in India over safety concerns

Most likely Pakistan will play. They had already decided on an alternate venue when Indians played champions trophy in UAE. We don't have the security argument...

It's more difficult for PCB, since we are playing in Sri Lanka

If that wasn't the case, it would be a straightforward boycott of India

Even so, I feel like it's important to make a stand against India and stand with Bangladesh

Solidarity has already been shown, unless both nations are willing to effectively risk bigger ICC sanction.

Everyone can see their is a problem, but Indians are such obnoxious dipshits that they will plough on, I will say again, India is the worst thing to happen to cricket

This did not appear

Actually, this is the opportune moment for the likes of Pakistan and Bangladesh to band up take a stance (even symbolic),against BCCI.
But,thn again,i remember the age old bhayya saying,,,,na baap bada na Nayyar saba bada rupayya.
2 extra dollar ke liye bhayya kuch bhi karega,if they can curb there initial bhayya urge/cravings for 2 extra dollars, may be there ghairat will take over.
Let's see.
Props to Bangladesh for showing spine unlike India who went on to play against Pakistan frequently after screaming ranting raving boycott.

Guess the 40% of revenue coming from just the Pakistan v India match is hard to boycott .

Bangladeshis are principled.

Interesting article in the Times of India on this subject.

The polite comments are even more interesting.
So it's a religious angle after all not a dispute over sports.

This has always been a communal cesspit from India

ICC = international communal cesspit

PCB should learn from BCB.

A single player was insulted and threatened by the "secular and democracy loving" hordes, and BCB took action.

At the very least, the "marquee fixture" that these people crave on a Sunday should be boycotted by Pakistan.

India is like a petulant child who brings the ball to the playground, and then takes it away when someone scores against him. This same India wants to be a global sporting destination.

What icc sanctions ? I f you take Pakistan and Bangladesh out of the scene, what's left in this third rate sports ? ... Pakistan needs to show some gritt and I hope it will.

First you had commercialization of cricket and now politicization. It's a sad sight to see. Sportsman's spirit now feels quaint.

Actually, the PCB has played its cards much better than the BCB. They have ensured they will not have to play any of their matches in India. If the BCB had raised this issue a few months ago, it might have still had a shot with the ICC.

More importantly, this is not a decision of the BCB, but that of the government of Bangladesh. The BCB will be the biggest loser from this expression of self-respect of the government. The question is whether the government of Pakistan will also take a political decision to express solidarity with BD by withdrawing from the tournament or the commercial interests of the PCB will prevail - which is the most likely outcome.

BCB exposed the hypocrisy of ICC once again and kept their head high. They have the support of the majority of people.

International Sports is played for national pride. There is absolutely no point playing if it means bowing down and sacrificing national pride.

Pakistan boycotting would make my day.
