Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

Also interesting ... Not sure what "this" is, but at first sight, it reminds me heavily on this even, when the FC-31's static test specimen was transported in July 2016.
Looks almost like a J-XDS or a CCA?

If indeed legit, this image seems to be the first clearer one showing one of the later J-36 prototypes - based on the revised twin main landing gear configuration with the wheels arranged side by side - from behind. Anyway a rare sight.

This is clearly not J-XDS/J-50. Completely different wing geometry and lambda angle section.

There was a lot of talk of a third 6th gen manned fighter when the first two fighter prototypes appeared in 2024. This talk died down when no further information in the public space was offered after the other two stole the spotlight. However, it is possible that other fighter is a UADF and possibly heavier UADF than the Type A and B displayed in September 2025. Those two were slightly smaller than J-10 sized but the sighted "3rd fighter" is almost Flanker sized which lines up with this tarped aircraft.
